good
It was good .
to practice.....
good.
I will be back soon
with My friends.
Thanks.
good deal
great deal cant ask for more for the price but would be better if you could tee off grass instead of matts
Great 9 hole course.
Great 9 hole course. Some decent water hazards. Only thing that bugs me is the giant electrical tower that comes into play on the 9th hole. Other than that it's my go to course.
good par three course to work on short game.
for the money it is a great par three course to practice some short game.
Cheap, fun...and annoying
I have played this course some 30-40 times over the last year. Compared to some executive courses, this one has some fairly challenging holes and requires a few tricks to work your way around. Trees, bunkers, water, some target golf. It's all good—except the pace of play.
I've seen a marshal there three times over the last year, and only once has he intervened. Groups of six, with at least two guys walking every inch of the green before they miss their 3.2 foot putt. 10-year-old kids driving and falling out of golf carts. Slow groups incapable of waiving you through. I've seen it all there, and often in just one day.
Yes, I've had some rounds that finished up in 1.5 hours, but they are far fewer than those that took 2-2.5, and for a 1750 yard course this is just stupid. I'm a muni kind of guy and I wholeheartedly support the mission of a local course that is friendly to beginners, to every social class, and to people of every creed and color. However, stricter adherence to tee times, increased marshal presence and some reminders about etiquette are required in order to fulfill this mission. If you want to attract new people to golf—especially my wife—you need to make it fun, not a three-hour chore of waiting in the hot sun.
Watching hackers can be fun and make you feel a lot better about your game, but only when things are moving along. This brings me to the other compromises: tee areas.
Clearly too many people play this course. Many holes basically require you to play off the mat, and even the mats look like they are 10 years old—after 6 months. By enforcing tee times and group spacing, you would reduce the number of rounds by a certain percentage, but better tees and greens would be the result in addition to pace of play.
Pico, I love you. But I'm not going back for a while...
like the course
Course moderately challenging, but not to difficult. Has both sandand water hazards.
it's great for starters and great for your short game.
This is one of my favorite 9 holes golf courses to practice your short game on it's also good for anybody starting off in golf.
This is a challenge par 3 course for sharping your short game skills.
This Par 3 course provides excellent place for sharping your golf skills. The course is clean, quiete, a lot of trees, easy access from surrounding cities and maintained. Excellent course for the senior golfer to have their moring walk. The price and services are excellent . I encourage senior golfers to include 2-3 rounds of golfing activities in executive nine holes course weekly. Our group plays 2-3 times per week and everyone enjoy the game and nice place for gathering and competting.
Awful greens this month!
Just as I thought the greens and course was improving the greens are back to awful. Every putt will bounce what seems like an inch off the green while it rolls towards the cup.
Nice course
The course needs some attention. Great last three holes
Great Value & Friendly Staff
I love this course, because its close by, great service, fun course, and its something I get to do with my 9 year old son.
Great short game practice.
Lots of mid iron holes, a couple of Driver holes. Great greens and fluffy bunkers.
This an excellent course for novices like me, and for anybody else who needs to work on his/her short game.
Excellent course and well maintained, ideal for a family activity. I frequent this course on a regular basis.
Good place to practice short game
I don't think I would play here at the rack rate, but with a good deal on GolfNow, I'd play here again. The round comes with a full bucket of balls so, for less than the price of a large bucket, you can also play a 9-hole executive course.
The first tee has been wide open every time I have played here. Just hit your bucket of balls at your leisure, then go play whenever you want, pretty much.
Friendly Staff
This course is very nice to play on. The people here are very friendly. Shout out to Able that made us feel like regulars. I would 100% go back there again. Carts and pull carts available which is a great option. Free bucket of range balls included with this deal. Added bonus in my opinion. Not visiting this place would be your loss.
fun and challenging.
The course is in fairly good condition, some of the greens had several un-repaired ball divots that took the fun out of putting. Most of the par three holes had good length to them, right around 160 yards. A few holes had elevated tee boxes that added to the challenge of the course. There are a couple of par fours that are fairly short at around 320 yards but the second is a dog leg right with the second shot over a good sized pond.
The course was fun and challenging and not too crowded on a Saturday.
Tight fairways but fun
The pro shop let us start early which helped because we bogged down four holes beacause ot two groups of newbies. Some greens need work but fairways were in good shape. Excellent customer service.
This course was very fun
Very good price and very fun! The staff were also extremely nice. Had a nice bar also
Good setup!
Nice 9 hole executive course. Good condition except for the greens, there were a lot of holes and bumps.
To get a bucket and a round of golf for that low of a price is incredible.
I will be booking that deal again. Pico Rivera GC is close to home & a great place to work on my game.
