Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

A day at the Delta
Started late per tee time scheduled. Pace of play was fine except in a couple of holes where 3 groups are playing. Very windy conditions in the front nine, very challenging for any player to find the right club, but going to the back nine, got better.
Greens were okay, bunkers need improvement.
Overall, good day at the links.
Play this course. Great value and difficult
All should play this track. Very fair price and hilly
with great views. If it was in Walnut Creek it would cost $30.00 more.
poor management
it was unbelievable play took 3 hours to play 9 holes then when I ordered the food prices were wrong from the 9th hole back at the clubhouse just unbelievable I deserve a free round and so does everyone else
Fun course to play
Love delta view course. Average course just to go and have a great time with a friend. I would love to play there again and again.

Apperently there is only one guy who knows how to operate the mower and he's been on vacation for a week.
If he comes back this place will be great.

Second time I played here. Not windy this time and I really appreciated the course. Last time the wind made it much harder - a lot less enjoyable!
Seems that Wednesday is Mens and Ladies club tournament days so it was slower than a weekday morning ought to be, in my opinion.
Course is in good shape for a muni. Some really great, interesting holes, and same with the greens. Better value for the money than a lot of East Bay courses.
Moderately Challenging Golf Course
For some reason, Delta View does not get much traffic; not as many players as its competition. And its pricing represents good value. The course is currently in great shape. Elevation changes may cause "first-timers" some challenges judging distances, especially under windy conditions. Not particularly difficult tee-to-green, but the greens can be tough to navigate. There are a few water holes that require a degree of precision to keep out of trouble. Management is new. Staff is courteous and friendly.
It was an enjoyable round
We played on a very hot day, but conditions were good. Front nine plays easier than the back nine. Matted surface on the greens makes them slow, which takes some adjustments if you're used to slick greens. Even if you don't put backspin on your chips, you should aim for the stick.
Awesome Views of Delta, No Crowds, Great Design
This is a gem of a course that is pretty much wide open in the afternoon. Play at a quick pace. Alistair MacKenzie design on the back nine is beautiful. Fairly well maintained for a public course. A couple of rough spots on the greens have shown up since last month. but overall very true rolls. Views are great too. Try it out

I enjoyed the round with my partner, we played at 2;30 pm and the weather was perfect, no wind! The round moved fairly fast and I was so sad to end my game of golf I wanted to continue, so I will definitely play this course again!! The greens are in excellent shape and putting was epic!
Surprised
I have not been to Delta View in about 5 years --- not sure why ? Thanks to Golf Now we got an affordable rate at a reasonable time and really enjoyed our day on the course . I was impressed with how nice of shape the course was in . We have already planned our next trip to Delta and definitely recommend to other golfers . Course is short but you must put the ball in the correct place to open up scoring . There are few grip it and rip it holes and there are a few water challenges that are pleasing to the eye. Thank you Delta and we will be back soon .
Nice Layout. SLOW GREENS. Not many driver holes.
This course has changed most dramatically over the years on the greens. They used to play true and fast, but now are consistently the slowest around.
If you like a short course with slow greens, fine. I prefer a long track with smooth greens that have a good amount of roll.
All in all a fun course to play with lots of character but short layout and slow greens.
Where was the Marshall?
Golfed with a 4some and there was a pair in front of us playing at a snails pace. Wish there was a Marshall to speed up their play, didn't see one all day.

Just amazing.... got right off at 10th tee, paired me with 2 other gentleman, happened to be similar handicap, had a great time... Course is in wonderful shape, very well maintained and cared for... Can't wait to play again....
