Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

A local favorite
It's an exciting course with a lot of challenging holes. Pair that with the price you pay and you have yourself a local favorite. The greens here are always among the best I have seen in the area: no damage, rolls true, and not a concrete slab for approach shots. It's also one of the few courses where I've never had a pace problem, but I could just be lucky.
My complaints are few and minor. Some areas on 2 or 3 fairways do not drain well and can get soggy from the sprinklers. A good handful of tee boxes could use a trim. Lastly, some parts of the facility feel run down.
All in all, I love coming here to test where my game is at, without having to spending a bunch of money or driving hours away.
Slow, fairways/greens a little mushy, but a great layout and a great value
Course was pretty full and they push em out every 8 minutes or so here so play was slow. Fairways and greens were pretty wet, very wet in some places and spike and ball marks were prevalent on the greens, but it is the end of December so not a huge surprise. Course was generally maintained well with a few minor exceptions. One thing this course needs is some better signage to show where to go to get to the next tee! Some of the transitions are not obvious. But the real reason to come here though is the layout! Not real long, but some varied and interesting holes! Some good, reasonable risk/reward holes where you don't have to be a scratch golfer in order to be able to pull it off. First timers without a more seasoned partner may not be able to see some of these opportunities though. Overall a great choice in the Concord/Delta area, especially for the price! I will be back when in the area again!
fun
Nice place to play just a little expensive but better with the golfnow discount.
great course and reasonable fee
Decent course to play
very close to where I live and has great view ofdeklta from tee box
I love the course - but the pace of play is getting out of hand. Too many people are being packed out there.
the course is playing way too slow. too many groups are being put out there.
Nice layout, with views of Delta, pace of play was average for early morning, conditions were good
Played early morning with foursome and pace of play was good. 4.5 hour round. The greens and fairways were in good shape. The local mens club play in the morning, and they play fast, so if you have slow players in your group, play after them. Food in restaurant is good !
Great course
From the lake on the right of the first fairway to the ravine in from of the green on 18 - you have to be on your game. Visually interesting and well maintained - I just enjoy the challenges on this course
Great price for playing on a Holiday
Course was in great shape considering this is the end of the summer and many courses have areas that are dead until the winter rains come but not here. Course has lots of elevation changes and is challenging for most all golfers.
Course was fun and greens in great shape.
Haven't played this course in years. Had a good day and realized how much I used to enjoy this course. We will definitely come back again. Got stuck behind the Sunday morning men's club and this slowed play a lot. Great value for the money.
Nice layout, fair condition, industrial views
Nicely sloping golf course with some interesting holes. Nothing overly memorable, reasonably challenging. Greens are a little spongy, and the course could use some attention but not in terrible condition either. While there are very scenic views the majority of the scenery is of refineries and chemical plants.
Good course but slow play
This was a nice course and very playable. The course was not real hard but they were also doing a lot of maintenance on the course and water hazards. The biggest negative I had was the pace of play. We had to wait on every hole for the group in front of us and there were no marshalls on the course. Part of the problem is that they have tee times every 8 minutes instead of 15 minutes like most courses I have played.
Very fun
About 20 handicap here, this course was fun, I loved hitting off the high tee boxes into huge elevation drops, had some monster drives here. Only problem I had was getting stuck behind +40 handicappers, probably could play the course in 4 hrs or less otherwise. But all in all had a lot of fun and $20 hot deal was excelent value.
This course could be the gem of the East Bay...
Delta View has the potential to be a great course and hidden gem of the East Bay. Unfortunately, the course is not well maintained. They need to reconsider their watering schedule across the board. Fairways are over watered and you get no roll even during the summer months. Greens are overwatered yet most water hazards have no water in them. Bunkers are improved over the last few years. With a little TLC and firm playing conditions, this course would be real good.
Overall, good place to play and work on your short game. Pace of play is excellent.
Best if you can hit straight
Nice layout. Appreciated the starter letting us on early. Locals said windy is the rule, we lucked out with a perfect day. Cart road needs repair.
Challenging layout
This course has a challenging layout but is poorly maintained. Surprisingly 'soggy' for a hilly course during a time in-which there has been no rain!
This course could also benefit from a Marshall. Every time I have played here it always seems to be backed up.
If you are looking to spend little money and get a round of 18 in this is the course for you. Of course if you do not mind a poorly maintained course.
aerification in progress.
Course layout is very interesting. It is quite difficult.
Management apparently has no clue how to run a business though the course layout is nice.
Booked a 7:14 AM tee time for four on Saturday but at 6:50 AM (just when there was enough light to see ~50 feet in front of you), 5 groups were waiting on the first tee because Delta View's first tee time was at 6:30 AM when it is COMPLETELY dark. These guys had no choice but to stand there till there was enough light. So, before the day even starts, Delta View is already behind more than 4 groups. Needless to say, we didn't tee off until ~7:40 AM. To add insult to injury, they let out a threesome, then followed by a single, then a foursome, fivesome, then our foursome. Absolutely no reason why Nick the starter could not have combined the threesome and the single! EVERYONE waiting on the tee box knew that the manager Eric Smith is completely unresponsive and they simply had given up trying to voice their opinions. It's really a shame since the layout is nice, but with plenty of other options in the region (like the various Brentwood courses) I doubt our group would ever come back, nor honestly recommend the course to others. Pretty sad.
The course offers many different types of holes.
Always enjoy playing Delta View. Hole #9 is always a challenge.
Great Value
Delta view really takes care of their greens. This is one of the first things I noticed. Great pace. We got out at 7:15 and didn't stop. The staff was also great. I will go back again!
Happy Golfer
Pin Location were pretty challenging. some hole were challenging in that you had to placed the golf ball in certain locations to have a better second shot!!!
