Desert Island Country Club

Course in goof condition if you keep it on fairway and not in sand! Fun track to play if you can get in $60 range!! Finding all PS courses overpriced though!

Both our rental bags only contained 9 clubs. No pitching or sand wedges .only lob and gap.

Starter told us that greens had been slow but they were just starting to speed them up. They were running 10.5 on Stimp according to the starter. I had just played Shadow Ridge and the greens were everybit as fast.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the course.

Only problem was a rude member at the chipping green, but that can happen anywhere.

Love the course. We’ll maintain. Easy to play yet challenging enough to make it fun to play.. The staff are very friendly especially Bill.

Nice layout. Good condition. Hard to find a deal in Palm Springs area in high season for less than $100.

A challenging holes force players to layup and hit a 2nd shot. Need to hit your tee shot straight or you'll be pitching out a lot. Only negative was goose poop on island shot on #9; not sure what can be done to reduce or eliminate it,

Amazing course, and amazing staff. Conditions were incredible and I’ll be back the next time I visit.

Recommend this course, small chipping area but good driving range and putting area. Narrow fairways but nice greens playing consistently on every hole.

We really enjoyed the course. It was in great shape and we liked the layout.

The only negative thing is the food prices at the course. My son and I each had a hot dog and fries. They were good but $32 for 2 hot dogs and fries is over the top. I realize most courses charge a lot nowadays. Would still return to play again though.

Parking was limited and had to park in overflow area, but course attendants gave us a ride upon finishing. Played in 3.5 hours so pace was good. Greens were 10+ speed which starter told us the grounds crew had recently stepped them up. Overall pleasantly pleased.
