Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort - South/West

The fairways were dried out in spots. The south course was better than the west course. Hole 1 on the west course had no tee offs ares. Just random placement of the white and red tee box next to the practice area. Green on hole 2 was torn up with truck tracks.

While on the no 2 hole a resident in the condos was screaming that someone was besting her up and hurting her i called the oro shop to ask that they call the police. but

the pro shop worker put me on hold for 15 min snd never got back to me. i hope the woman was ok.

Had a great day of golf. Beautiful weather and beautiful course. A little too much water holes for me but still a lot of fun

You need to install ball washers as there was mud in quite a few places. Also, signage on course was lacking.

For the most part this course is playable for every level of golfer. There were a couple of holes where it was not evident where to drive the ball off the tee because there are no diagrams for the hole layout. On the back the course uses two temporary tee boxes and the holes were muddy even tho there had been no rain. Driving range is available at an extra cost and not worth the money as the grass is all chewed up

Grass was a bit thin on fairways, perhaps new grass was just coming in. The first few holes of the West Course was in poor condition. No one met us when we returned the cart - surprising since you can't take the cart to the car to drop your clubs. Overall, just fair for a not cheap price. Frankly, I'd go somewhere else next time.

Staff was very friendly and amicable. Love to play this course.

Couple holes in West course was not drained well after 2 days earlier rains.

The course had very nice views of the mountain's and had a good kayout however the course fairways were in bad shape and the 11th hole was closed. Only played 17 hole due to flooding.. Greens were in excellent shape.

Course has a nice layout with some interesting holes; but, when played in December, 2022 2 holes on the west course (10,11) were destroyed and unplayable. Course should have made this known while booking tee time and should have adjusted the greens fees accordingly.

This should be a municipal that costs $39, not a $119 resort course. Conditions are terrible. Pace is poor. No marshal to address it. The course is owned by the OMNI. and on property. You would expect a better experience from such an upscale resort.

The course conditions were poor. The staff attitude and friendliness was lacking. The value as compared tpo the price fell short.

Played behind a 5some.

Pro Shop didn't bother to mention when checking in that only 17 holes were available to play. I actually quit after 12 holes, after finding out that the whole course wasn't playable. Pretty gypsy. Won't be going back.
