Very slow due to over booking
1.0 star rating12/26/2020
The last 5 times we played here, we had to wait 10- 15 mins at each hole with 2 carts in front of us, during the work week. It's hard to play when you have to wait so long to get up to the tee box. Dont go here on the weekends. Waste of money. Last time we did we couldn't even finish the back nine! It took us 2.45 hours to play the first 9. We had to stop on the back nine on the 12th hole, because there was a foursome on the green, and two carts in front of them at each hole. We had to stop because it was getting dark. We started at one o'clock. They have too many young kids running this golf course who don't know how to stagger. They should have a Marshall on . If you want to lose $60 bucks, here's the place to do it!!!
Bang for your buck
Not a par 72. Only a 62 so easy course to walk and work on short game. A lot of par 3s less than 130 yards so pitching wedge will take bulk of your swings. The greens are the best thing on the course. Much harder than the rest of the layout. Overall worth it for a practice round to work on everything but driver
Deathly slow twosome
Pin placements mainly on steep slopes almost unfair. Had a twosome in front of us were an issue the whole round deathly slow . We spoke to them and the twosome behind us spoke to them about slow play.
Friendly local course
Friendly and cozy 18 hole course that will make for a fun and we'll paced round. It is a part 62, but it makes you be accurate on your mid to short game.
Great walking course
For a quick round of golf and good short game practice it is hard to beat Jack Tone. My buddy and I walked and still finished 18 holes in under 2.5 hours. The greens were also rolling very nice, but many are tricky with lots of slope.
Nearly excellent
Loved being able to walk it in 2 hours 10 minutes
The course has solid variety to it and the areas around the greens were in great shape. Bunkers were raked, and the greens rolled pretty darn well. I find the rough to be inconsistent because of multiple grass types growing together (I suppose that we should play from the fairway, but that's not usually that important in modern golf) Love the slightly smaller greens and the variety of yardages in play here. This course is better than most short courses for sure. I do think that it has to many false edges on the greens given there relatively small size. I sucked 3 different shots back off the greens, which is pretty rare.
I'll be back
Enjoyable Short Course
Jack Tone GC is a fun, quirky little par 62. The course has a few short par 4s and a par 5. The greens are generally very tiny with nice undulations. The course is usually in pretty good shape with nice bent grass fairways. This course has a nice community feel to it and it’s always nice to come back and see Tim the Pro in the shop.
Played all 18 holes with the same ball...
Not only was this my first time here, it was also my first time breaking 100 without taking a mulligan. Scored 95.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home. Definitely will list this course as one of my favorites.
Beginner's course
Outstanding course, for beginners. Nobody pushing you. Friendly staff. Great place to take someone who has never played before. Holes are still a challenge, but not overly complicated.
Nice course for short game practice
Really nice course for short game and beginners. I enjoyed my day playing here. Thankz!
Fun Executive Course
Great course to work on short game. There are 5-6 holes where you can bring your driver out, most of course can be played with irons. For me, im just starting to play so its a fun short course to master before moving up. Either way, I will always go out and play a round here.
