Slow play
Most of the group were twosome. There was no reason to play slow. Only one group made all course go slowly.
There was no ranger to control the speed.
This course needs a ranger make the pace faster.
Bad and rude service in the pro shop
I requested to play by myself. I was given no indication that I wouldn’t be able to play by myself until I was in the pro shop. They refused to let me play by myself and wanted to put me with a 4some of people who I didn’t know and didn’t even speak English. This course used to be good. But they overbook it for the money so much now that one can’t even enjoy a round of golf. The person in the pro shop was rude. No professional and I’ll never play there again.
Solid Track
This is a really good bang for your buck. Depending on time of day. The course layout is fun and can be tricky. Missed shots can put you in bad positions. The overall conditions are good. Some areas could use some love. Greens also could could be better but roll true. Pace of play is a hit or miss. I’ve been there while the pace was great and also when it’s pretty bad. I do enjoy playing this course every time!
Solid course
Good course option for riverside could use some love but overall good condition. Greens were very fast but fairways were in solid condition.
The price is normally pretty fair, the course itself is a fun and challenging layout and the greens are pretty solid. Staff are super friendly and helpful, pace of play always gets super jammed up and slow on the back. Will come back eventually.
Average golfer
Pace of play was slow, as usual. Lot of weeds everywhere, but otherwise the course was in decent condition.
Great Value Course
Good course with friendly staff. Some nice Mountain Views at the top of the course. Greens are tricky but rolled true. Irons only on the range.
It was challenging for an older player like me ,but I'm sure a younger person would really enjoy this golf course. I will play this course again/
Okay course. Some issues.
The staff is super. The issue I have is I forgot that the bar is not open on Mondays. There’s no beer cart girl on Mondays. It’s bad when you show up in a foursome and can’t even grab a beer at a bar because they don’t want to pay a bartender on Mondays. Second, there’s no marshal. We had a group of 6 players ahead of us. Talk about waiting all day. Where the heck is the Marshall???
There’s better courses out there.
Fun Course!
I’m new to the game but I really enjoyed the course and various hazards. It made me really think about shot placement and tested my capabilities. I like the course!
