No Snack shack?
You go online & book with this course & they pop up a giant page ad about the new snack shack.. oh yeah not open today. CC is not what it was many years ago when it was private. It has pretty decent conditions, but the price could be better & it probably would give them more business. My chief complaint about today at CC I wish the kids who work there gave a little more of a crap.
I went out as a single watched 3 groups of 4 go out ahead of me so I went backwards & started on 10 & played the entire round in 3 hours with taking my time & hitting multiple balls on some holes.
Nice Challenging Course!
I had an overall good time while playing at Canyon Crest Country Club! The course was is good shape considering its summer and the lack of rain. Fairways are cleanly cut, bunkers were well kept, and greens are fast! The course has a great layout and has hazards at more then half of the course. Definitely a layout to practice course management. The staff was very friendly while I was there and showed me around. Definitely coming back!
What Happened??
I used to love playing Canyon Crest. Unfortunately I may have played at a bad time for the facility to accommodate what we wanted. I couldn’t purchase golf balls from the pro shop and according to the staff, “the driving range was out of range balls” but the range balls just hadn’t been picked up yet. The course has potential and I really hope it gets better but for $65 for that round when their website says, “cart, range included” is just not worth it.
Fun challenge!
I really enjoyed this round. Cart was prepared with my last name when I arrived. My buddy was late but they accommodated the delay. Course was fun and in great condition. Greens were pretty fast and fun. Each hole was unique. I will definitely book again 😁
Vacation Round
I played as a single and they wouldn't pair me with anyone. I had a 2some in front of me and a 2some behind me. Started out the back (both 2somes played 18 also). It was a very nice and well-maintained course. I would defiantly play again

The course is in great shape with near perfect greens.
Fun time
Staff was friendly, golf shop, starter gave tips, cart girl...paired with father son duo, had a great time!
Amenities close too early
No cart girl and the bar/grill close way too early. Course played fairly well
$115 not worth it
Greens were terrible and fairways were whatever , for $115 on a Saturday go to hidden valley or goose creek for around same price much nicer
Rough but fun course
Challenging course. You have to hit over a couple of streams. Bring plenty of gold balls if you have a bad slice . I lost 3 golf balls trying to go over the streams. Course is well maintained.

Played on Fathers Day. The course is in HORIBLE condition. They haven't trimmed a tree in 25 years. Fairways are dirt. And the greens are so over watered that you ball hits every foot print and moves all over the place! Don't waste your $! Do better Canyon Crest!

I get it the later tee times are for people who aren’t good.
But the pace was terrible! And yes I know the cart girl leaves at some point but before 3pm? All ball wash and water drinking stations empty as well. If you don’t pay for an early tee times don't expect ANY amenities. Greens were ok though.

The pace of play was so Bad we left after 12 holes

Everything about this course was absolutely amazing. The price on a weekday and how amazing the course and stay was is just perfect
