Canyon Crest Country Club

As the title says I had high hopes for this place with it formerly being private. That being said, unless it’s a crazy unbeatable deal, I will golf elsewhere. I will say the staff were very friendly and the layout was pretty good. Other than that, there’s not much to brag about. Plenty of rough/dead patches in the fairway, quite a bit of grass growing through the bunkers, greens had some dead spots(and a lot of un-repared divots), ants in the cart, no water anywhere on course to name a few. It was definitely playable, but the price point is way off. This should be $60-$70 on a weekend at best.

Like I said, the staff is great, and I honestly think it could be a good course. It just seems like it’s fallen a long way down, with a long way out.

This course was fun to play. The fairways were in good condition and greens were great and fast lots of dog leg fairways.

Customer service from staff was excellent. From the moment we parked we were greeting with a cart and our bags taken care of. Everyone working there we past greeted us and wished us luck. Received great customer service from the person working behind the counter as well. Course conditions were great. Played midday so pace of play was excellent, never having anyone in front or behind us for the entirety of our round. Will definitely be playing here again.

First time playing here with buddies and everyone confused as to the next hole in the front nine. Fortunately course layout on the back of score card. Challenging layout , l like the grass condition of fairways

This course conditions are very good. The players pace are very reasonable.

People who works here are very friendly.

The course was in very good condition. It’s a bit tight and hilly, so you need to strategically think about every shot. A nice challenge.

They came and picked me up in the parking lot. Instantly knew this place was too good for me. I went with it though and pretended to belong. Friendly staff, great course, got paired with grandfather, father, son. Had an overall great time. Would definitely forget I'm poor for a day again to play here if golf now hooks me up with another deal.

I have traveled 50 mins to try Canyon Crest County Club, to my surprise the staff are very friendly, from checking in, the guy was a fellow Marvel fan!

Arriving early, I opted for some range balls, as soon as I walked out of the pro store, I found my bag strapped in to a cart! (They are really nice and attentive)

Got to the range and as I’m checking in, chat with the Marshall and mentioned it’s my first time and he gave me an option to go earlier…(great! I can play by myself).

The group ahead was having fun and I made sure not to rush them, I saw their cart flip on its side and the group was hilarious! At hole 16 they rush back and talked to me and gave me a beer ( their way of saying thank you for not rushing them)

The 18 hole was a true delight, well maintained with fast greens, I’m one year in to golfing and it was very forgiving and wide open…

I’m definitely going back.

Went here with my son on 6/12 and had a decent time but the guys working the desk were kinda rude. Chalked it up to a bad day. Went back today 6/19 with my other son and we were denied because my son did not have on a collared shirt. Normally, I would understand but just a week ago I was there and neither of us had on collared shirts. We were all dressed in golf attire. Today my son had a Travis Matthew long sleeve dry fit on. I told the guy I was just here last week and he said too bad. I didn’t drive from around the corner so I was angry. I will never return to this course. The staff is just too rude to deal with!!

Course is fantastic, great condition. Green are fast and fun. Amazing layout through the houses but not to narrow. Only issue and it’s a big one for me. Driving range was awful. I mean worse than the worst public driving range. My biggest problem was the range balls were old , dirty and just out of shape. The mats were dirty like they’ve never been cleaned properly. It doesn’t make me not want to go back. But honestly just Fixing that would make me come back every month.
