The National Golf & Country Club

Love this course but it’s a long way from anything. It’s in a community which is a long way from I75 or from Naples, Bonita Springs or Fort Myers. Despite being inconveniently located, it’s a great course and in great shape. Not too difficult and relatively forgiving but plenty of trouble to get into if you don’t hit it where it allows you to hit. I would recommend.

Greens were perfect. Rest of the golf course is top notch

Loved the undulations on the greens and the contours of the fairways. Long drive between holes.

Not a typical Florida course. Lots of undulation on the greens and the fairways and fast greens made for a fun round. Course is in great shape. Long drive between a lot of the tee boxes as the course is built through the neighborhoods and there were a lot of road crossings. Overall a great course. Will definitely play there again.

We were searching for a course to play while staying in the Naples area and found The National. It's price point was comparable to what we were seeing closer to Naples city limit areas.

We saw no staff members on the course and felt as though the back nine pace slowed considerably.

Biggest downside to this course is a lack of signs - from bag drop around the pro shop, to specific signs for sets of tees. Extremely inconvenient is having your cart die in the middle of the fairway - because there aren't any (ZERO) signs telling you where to exit back to the cart paths.

Course was in spectacular shape!

Point of concern - as the home/units continue to build up, it's only a matter of time until non-residents will be shut out and tee times for property owners will become more restricted.
