The National Golf & Country Club

Worst was POOR etiquette on 3 some ahead of. Bad at golf and refused to let us play through even though hit 2 hit tee shots about 50 yards on a par 3. And couldn’t find their ball. Many holes look similar.

This course is in excellent condition. Staff is very friendly. The only issue was the pace of play. There were 3 foursomes backed up on 3 or 4 of the holes on the backside. A proactive ranger would have been helpful.

The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Even with the absence of trees (a huge benefit for my game) it was scenic due to the wonderful job of course design. Even in the flat topography of SW FL the fairways were full of undulations and bunkering was impressive as well.

Speaking of undulations, the greens were a challenge! They are large, well manicured and rolled true and fast but those undulations kicked my butt. I had far more three putts that I care to admit.

Overall, the experience was a great one! Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. We definitely hope to return!

Wow! Very nice course. Fairways are perfect along with greens. Staff is very friendly. Nice driving range. All in all a very nice experience. Senior tees are very playable at 5600 yards. Regular tees are more difficult because of hitting over water on most holes at tee box. The layout of the course is challenging from any of the tees on several holes. I would play this course again

We play here all the time once the seasons leave. Once again it didn’t disappoint. The course is always great. Staff always friendly

We have played Ave Maria National and Panther courses many times terrific golf golf course courses.

Nice course had no complaints other than warning golfers that you will be bothered by gnats with every shot. Guaranteed to have at least one in each ear and possibly one in your eye on every shot. Ate lunch in their beautiful newly built club house, the food was great but even had the gnat problem indoors.I would recommend playing this course on a windy day so the gnats stay home wherever they live.
