The National Golf & Country Club

This course is brand new and it is not very obvious of where anything is located. Still lots of construction going on. Clubhouse not built yet and no signage can be found when you arrive. The golf carts are gas and very slow, not to mention the GPS stopped working on hole 15. We had no layout of course or yardage after that.

Having said all of that I believe in a year or so this place will be a great golf course and would love to come back.

While the fairways and greens were in good shape, the cart paths were quite dangerous. Construction equipment was abundant throughout the course

Course layout very good. Tee shots over water on multiple holes. Greens were in great condition just not very fast. I would definitely play again

Course layout was great but NO notice from Golf Now and/or National that the course was under aeration protocol.

Course is brand new so ratings will improve quickly, There is absolutely no shade on this course, so make sure you are hydrated! Pace of play was not the best, but we were allowed to play through. Greens were recently aerated. I don’t recommend this course right now. Great potential though!

Title says it all. Golf Pass should have put a notification on their website about the recent aeration.

Took son to play as he is just learning and getting better. Open fairways was key to allow him to enjoy and for $29 at 10am what better. Well coming to play on aerated and sanded greens was not expected but maybe why rates were low but who cares when you get to play with your son. Fun track and challenging tee boxes if you want to be daring. Some fairways had some sun damage but it's South Florida in the summer. Practice facilities are awesome and this track is not even done as Clubhouse, new carts and trees are not all in as well as some roads. Still, a great place to play 18 holes under 3.5 hours and enjoy the ride back home.

Great staff but a Rude Ranger

The national is a beautiful course, in excellent shape. The surrounding community is still under construction as is the pro shop but if you can overlook these small déficiences you are in for a great day of golf

YES, THERE IS STILL SOME CONSTRUCTION GOING ON, MOSTLY LAYING CONCRETE ON SOME OF THE CART PATHS, BUT THE LAYOUT, THE FAIRWAYS AND GREENS ARE GREAT. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CHEAP GREEN FEES NOW CAUSE WHEN THEY GET ALL THE CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE AND THE CLUB HOUSE FINISHED, RATES WILL BE TRIPLE WHAT THEY ARE NOW. PLAN ON PLAYING MORE TIMES BEFORE THE FESS INCREASE. WHEN THIS COURSE IS FINISHED IT WILL BE AS NICE AS ANY IN SW FLORIDA.

The course was great but the surrounding because of construction that my bag my cloths were full of dust. We had a tough time time because the course charged $37 good deal if we new about the dust. But we went through golf now and got a hot deal for $17. My friend got screwed up on golf now and when we called the lady said only one came through not three. She wouldn’t honor 1

$17 for the other 2 even though we were the last group of the day. No one in front of us we could see. So I had to go through golf now at the course to get $17 rate for 2. Turns out our third player she got his name wrong and he wasn’t signed up. She wouldn’t honor $17 for him and I had to go through golf now again to get him the rate. Since the course is not done , she was in the phone with us twice and screwed up a name , she made me go to GolfNow twice in your club house and no one else was playing. Couldn’t she have just gave us the rate. If I ever play there again it won’t be until the course and housing is done. She used very bad judgment.

Water driving range and nice lay out. Playing second from the back tees (red) weird I know, have some long par 3s 220+- especially into the wind. Pace of play is okay EXCEPT when you hit 16. Its painfull. The last 3 hole design causes major back ups. Almost ruins the expierence.

5 sets of tees and wide fairways make this course playable and fun! The course was in great condition, especially the greens. With construction of homes some of the crossings can confuse, but stick to the direction signs and you’ll be fine.

The only drawback is the absence of a course layout on the card. The open spaces and uniformity of the homes makes target golf a bit of a challenge. That is temporary I suspect.

Jorge in the makeshift clubhouse/pro shop (during construction) is everything you want in a golf course head. Kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Get the water in the pro shop. Water between 5 and 6 and 13/14 on the back for fill ups. Go now before word gets out!
