The National Golf & Country Club

Golf was way too slow for 100+ degree summer heat and no shade anywhere on the course. Didn’t have ice in the cooler, a towel, or even a pencil in my cart. Not enough water stations. Wasn’t clear where to pay. Golf carts are gas powered and outdated.

If you hit a ball in the rough consider it gone. Many holes are surrounded by thick weeds. Be prepared to lose balls even if you hit a good shot. Greens were recently punched.

Very nice course, everything was great. Only suggestion is more drinking water stations or a beverage cart out on the course.

My first round in FL in 8 years and my previous spot was Champion's Gate. This course reminds me a lot of the International over there, with a lot more water in play. The layout is tricky yet friendly. A lot of holes hug water so shorter hitters can go around while longer players can try to bite off more.

Still a lot of construction going on around the front 9 so visually it makes it difficult to pick your target and not as pretty as it could have been. But the course itself was in great shape. Greens have recovered from aeration and rolls fairly well. If it's not busy you should try the 700yd 16th just for fun. I nearly birdied it so that made the day that much more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the round and would definitely go back again.

I love the course ! Great layout and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and professional. The greens were just punched but still very playable. I really enjoy playing the National ! The right combination of play for all levels of experience.

Once all construction has been completed this course will be fabulous

Amazing Golf course. If someone is leaving a negative comment it's usually about the construction work that's being done around the golf course but in no way shape or form does it actually affect the golf. I think I paid just under $30 to play this course which is the deal of the century considering what you pay to play some of these other dog tracks around Naples. The layout is fantastic. Unless you are a scratched golfer I would suggest playing from the middle tee box as the course gets quite tricky if you've never played it before. Nothing negative to say about this place I'd live here if I could.

The course was beautiful but also challenging in a couple of holes. It was a fun course to play. It was very well maintained.

The potential of the course will be something to behold. I've played this course 20 times since it first opened. My only criticism is the lack of watering stations on the course. In the hotter weather, it's dangerous not to stsy hydrated.

I love the layout and cannot wait until it is completely built out. Ive shot my lowest lifetime rounds here of 75 and 76. So I am a big fan of The National.

Great staff, well maintained course. Great management.

Some cart paths, some gravel and dirt roads. Once construction is completed and all cart paths paved this will become an excellent place to play

Only complaint is tee markers are hard to define and no pin placement indicators. ( that I have been able to figure out.

GPS doesn’t seem to have a score card. Maybe they do but I couldn’t figure it out
