The National Golf & Country Club

Overall a great course with a wide variety of holes and shots. Course is in great shape from tee to green. My only complaint is the on the greens with the dirt they use to fill in pitch marks needs to be either leveled out or applied then rolled because it’s a hindrance when putting over them. From the friendly staff that great you upon arrival to the cool aqua driving range with included balls to the unique layout this course has it all and at a great value. There’s lots of construction going on but mainly on the front nine but wasn’t much of a distraction. It’s a must try course if in the area! Course can play extremely long +7,000 yards or anywhere under that for your skill level.

This is a fun, challenging course that is in excellent condition. Community still under construction - so don’t mind the drilling. Pro shop, starter and staff were friendly. Multiple tee boxes providing lots of options. Fairways were groomed and lush. Bunkers were soft and not overly abundant. Greens were smooth and ran true. Plenty of water carries - but large landing areas. Electric carts with GPS. Pace was a little slow behind two foursomes - but a brief thunderstorm scared them off. Balls included at the aqua range. A must play in Ave Maria next to sister course Panther Run.

The course was great. It always is. I have 2 issues with the management. #1: There are no water coolers on the course. You get 2 chances for water at the rest rooms. Not enough for 100+ weather. Every course I play has coolers…you know to thank the summer residences as courtesy for playing their course. #2: Charged me and my friend $28 a piece to allow our wives to ride along. $28 each. Again, this is thanks we Florida residence get for choosing their course and paying $55. RIDICULOUS! Really should rethink how you treat your “true patrons”.

They need to finish the bathrooms and water stations on the course

Played the National for the first time. Played with a member so he was very helpful on course layout and tactics. Would play again even though it wa s50 minutes from where I live.
