fairway condition
Really enjoyed playing the what seems to be resigned course from a decade ago?. Everything was good except fairways need to be mowed. It was almost like playing in the rough. A typical muni course but had a lot of f
un playing.
Diamond Oaks
Highly overwaterd. Fairways are too long and rough is way too long for normal play slowing down play.
Good course
Pace of play very good four hours. Greens in good shape two weeks after aeration. Fairways grass long and first cut of rough very hard to get out of. Needs to be cut shorter. Lost balls in ground due to being too deep. Overall avoid course to play.
The fairways were wet and high cut grass.
Has a hard time finding our golf balls in the fairways
Watch Out for Rude people!
I fully understand It's a Public Course been playing here for over 30 years. The course is like a cow pasture. Green are very marked-up players NOT fixing their ball marks.
What is Bad is that the golfers today are very Rude and offer no manners. Especially if they lose their ball in the unmowed rough.
No Course etiquette - it is just a game!
People tend to bring their problems to the course.
It seems like front office staff are not trained to have a Courtesy greeting.
Not sure if I will be playing here again.
Good conditions
Except for a very slow foursome on the front nine pace was good. Bunkers were all wet and greens could use some love. Tee areas and fairways were great. Legends at is very reasonable and friendly. Great day except for my score
Beautiful setting and dau to play ⛳️
I'm still an inconsistent player and I really enjoyed the day,The course and also who we were paired with; very nice couple.
Diamond Oaks Staff are ALL RUDE
Diamond Oaks course is becoming worse and worse every week.
Their staff is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL
Been a long time
The last time I played this course was around 2004. I’ve been away for a long time another cities. I thought I would give it a try. I remember liking it. The course was fun. I don’t remember all the little nuances and areas to be in and not to be in throughout the course. The course played well. I had a nice threesome played with the greens were extremely slow not used to that. I think they left them shaggy because of the heat possibly? I think if I played it a few more times in the greens were cut a little lower. It could be an excellent course. That surprise me the most was playing in three hours and 58 minutes on a Saturday tee off at 8:30 in the morning. That was wonderful. I’ll be back to try it again.
Tee'd Off.... Literally.
Tee time was 7 am. Showed up READY to go at 6:52 and was berated by the pro shop attendant insinuating that we were late by sarcastically saying that we were up next. Loaded the cart and was waiting for our name to be called to tee off. Returned to shop to see if he would be calling our name as he did the group before us. There were now two staff in the shop. The guy I had asked about the announcement said "No, you should have tee'd off 5 minutes ago" to which I replied "Oh, 5 minutes ago the group in front of us was still in the middle of the fairway" He AND the other staff member argued back with me saying "yeah it's because the two groups in front of you were late" ....not sure how that is my problem, also, it's 7 am and I am a paying customer of your business looking to ENJOY my day on the golf course, not get harassed because I was on time and a few groups in front of me 5 minutes late.. Not a great way to start off my first experience at this course. Got out of there so there was no further encounters and proceeded to the course. Course was great. Ordered food and they were not knowledgable about the menu. Maybe chalk this up to a fluke, however, if the staff from either of the local courses were transplanted to this course, I would say this could be a front runner for the area. Sadly, with staff as such, I will not be returning, nor will I recommend. Train your staff better. Poor customer relations.
