Great Municipal Course
Love how forgiving this course is for newer golfers, the greens are small and the rough is thick, but it’s so open, you can hook or slice and still have a shot at recovery. Love having the Beach Hut sandwich spot on the course for a meal/drink before or after a round.
Aerated
Fyi greens are punched and sanded. So still very bumpy. Maybe in 3 weeks they'll be good

Modest Muni
This is a modest municipal golf course. Decent driving range facilities and an associated Beach Hut Deli sandwich shop and bar on site. Carts available for an additional fee.
Course is in pretty decent shape for the most part, a few bare spots in fairways here and there. Biggest gripe: punched and sanded greens with no advance notice until I showed up to play. Since I pre-paid through Golf Now, no price adjustment. No notice on Golf Now about aerated greens either. Punched and sanded geeks were spongy and the ball definitely rolled weirdly.

Sanded greens
It would of been nice If someone would of warned us about the greens being maintenance

Course was poorly kept and for $51 to play with cart id take your money elsewhere.

Greens a little rough some muddy spots on course
Overall satisfied greens a little rough and some muddy spots on course. Restaurant and team at club house and on course very friendly and I will be back because of the kind team members
It Never Changes
I started playing here about 45 years ago and it is nearly exactly the same. The fairways are muddy (hasn’t rained in 9 days), the traps are ponds, perfect for raising mosquitoes, thebgreens are bumpy and it took 2 1/2 hours to wait through the front 9. We were supposed to play 18, but the conditions were so unexcusably poor, we packed up after 9. It just wasn’t fun.

Soggy and Muddy
The entire course was muddy and often times when you hit the ball, it will plug into the ground, even in the fairways....It was not an enjoyable experience to walk through the mud for 4.5 hours. Additionally, the greens were not blown off so your ball would jump all over the place when you putted. The tee boxes are not flat. The grass on the fairways was long, probably due to it being muddy and unable to get a mower on it.

Great Value
Cordova is a decent course at a great price. Grass range to warm up on, large chip and putt section also. Not the best kept course but for less than $40 per round you can live with is. Also having a Beach Hut to hit at the turn or after the round is a huge plus.

Keep your head on a swivel
Was putting on the second green and one of the members of our group got hit by a ball with no fore call to be heard anywhere. Costs about $55 to play the course with a cart which is just as much if not higher than nicer courses in the area. Great course for beginners but too expensive for the quality of the course

Had a great time!!
Weather, course and having good company made the golf experience great. Most definitely coming back. Only thing I came home gripping about was the 19$ dollar BHD sandwich. It was delicious and will probably order again but 20$ is 20$!!
Slow Saturday
We got what we expected, slow play on a Saturday, but the course is in very good condition after a hot summer. It is a learners course, so: Too many play two balls. Very few rake traps. And it seems as though none of the players ahead of us own a divot fixer. But the grounds crew has been earning their keep!
