The course is very tricky as there is sand bunkers on almost every hole, there are los water hazards you can’t see until it’s too late😂. But overall it’s a very challenging but fun course to play. The greens are very fast and a little dry.

The club needs some serious improvement to get back to where it was. The fairways being in terrible shape is a major issue for any golf course, as it can greatly affect the quality of the game. Although the greens were good, it doesn't make up for the rest of the course being in bad shape.

Furthermore, the owner's behavior towards her staff was concerning. It's never appropriate for a boss to reprimand their employees in front of customers, this made our group uncomfortable. This type of behavior can also negatively impact the morale of the staff, which could ultimately affect the quality of service.

The expensive and bad-tasting food was also disappointing. Golf courses typically offer a range of amenities and services to enhance the overall experience for golfers. It's concerning that there were no amenities available at this course.

Finally, the owner's constant bragging about the improvements made to the country club is concerning. If the improvements are unnoticeable, it suggests that the owner may not be investing the necessary time and resources into improving the course.

Overall, this golf course is not worth the time or money. Hopefully, the owner will take steps to improve the course and the overall experience for customers.

Lady at front desk was rude about dress code wanting everyone to wear pants. Probably cause there was a wedding going on. Course is in a neighborhood right up on the houses. Nothing but patchy grass.. greens are dry, bunkers we're full of water. Food was way over priced and not good. Facilities we're all super old and not we'll maintained.

Could be a decent budget place to work on your game if it was better maintained.. not the classy place the lady at the front desk was making it out to be.

Also don't confuse this with the private LAKE arrowhead country club which is everyone you dreamed of and more.

It’s about as muni as muni gets. Overpriced. It’s unfortunate that ARCIS is going to let them run shandin hills into the ground as well. I used to play this course with my grandfather and to see the condition it’s in currently is sad. I’d give it no stars if I could.

Greens had been aerated, but knew that going in. Not a lot of challenge to the course. Nearly every hole is dead straight, which is good for beginners or casual players. Fairways are non existent. So many weeds that they’re pretty rough. Watch out on hole 10! You tee off parallel to the driving range, then cross in front of it. Players on the ranger were hitting balls RIGHT INTO US! The only ball I lost this day was into the water on 10 bc I was too busy worrying about catching a dome shot from behind.

This is a semi-private course and country club, and is about two-years into a renovation proclaimed on its Facebook site, yet no construction equipment in sight. Saw no on-site display of the plans for renovation, timeline or progress. Driving range not really suitable for anyone hitting over 200 yards. Snack shop has reopened since closing during CoVid and it may have a new coat of paint. Do not recall seeing any tables. The flow of the course is somewhat reversed from original in that holes 10-14 now take off to the north from the snack shop, and holes 15-18 take over the spots previously held by 10-14 towards the south. No actual redesign of the holes, just renumbering. Those were the only physical signs of change I saw, compared with my last visit about two-years ago. A snack cart stopped by when we were on hole 8 and we saw marshal on hole 10. Never seen a snack cart or on-course marshal before, even when the course was private. Club house still appears closed, and in desperate need renovation. Peeking through the windows, it is still dressed in worn out 1950’s chic. Fairways consist of patches of grass between patches of bare dirt. Greens were recently aerated and sanded. Only saw a few squirrels today, whereas in the past, the course was overrun. Two foursomes in front of us and maybe saw one or two other groups during our trip. Made reservations for a 7:30 a.m. start on Sunday at about 6:00 p.m. the night before. We took our time and completed 18 holes in about 4 hours. Arrowhead Country Club is an oasis in the City of San Bernardino—a city in desperate renovation, itself. Hope the new golf course owner can pull off its imagined renovation and then draw enough players to sustain operations..

Pretty good value for the money.....but not many food choices...and won't let you bring your own..

I played on a day when it was supposed to rain and didn't. Therefore, there wasn't anyone on the course as I was able to play in a little over 2 hours! Some of the course was a welcome surprise such as the greens and bunkers. The greens were smooth and reasonably paced and the bunkers were much better than last time I played there. They had been dressed and had plenty of sand. The worst part of the course are the tee boxes and fairways. Tee boxes I can excuse because the balls on a tee, but the fairways are absolutely horrible. There are just clumps of grass and an awful lot of hardpan. I feel they raised their prices prematurely. They should have waited until the course was in better condition. That's why I gave them 1 star for value.
