Tight lies and sanded greens made for a tough day. Still fun and played fast

The greens were under repair. Course should advise golfer before booking.

Very nice traditional course. We played it just after punching the greens, so discounting that, the course was in good shape. Would love to come back and play it when it is in it's best condition.

Front 9 greens were being aerated so played the back 9 twice. Not a particularly difficult course but good for me, a high handicap. Water comes into play on a couple of holes and you don't realize it until you are close to the greens. If you play here, you know what I mean. Watch for the red stakes delineating the edge of the hazard. Plenty of fairway bunkers . Hard packed sand in all bunkers. Their regular rate is high for what you get. I play here when I find a favorable rate on GolfNow.com. Not bad for an older course.

NEW OWNERS, YEAH.

This course has been good and really bad the last couple years. It's in much better shape under new ownership and looks promising that it will continue to improve. Whether it gets back to the condition it was in as a private club is to be seen. But when this course is is in good shape it's a fun course to play.

got for about 40 bucks very playable. will be in better condition after the overseeding/ aeration. played 11:30 thursday and our 2 some finished in 3 hours.

This is a great course then it got in really bad shape and I thought they might close down. Then a miracle happened. There are new owners. New golf carts, new range balls the greens are smooth and fast and the fairways are in good shape again. Love this course and I really like what the new ownership has done. Arrowhead is back.

Maybe I’m spoiled by other area courses in the area — like Oak Valley. — but I thought several past reviews of Arrowhead were generous. The fairways and greens are in mediocre condition. It’s not a scenic course — just flat and consistently side by side fairways without much to separate them visually.

The beverage cart person was very helpful — even getting ice out of her cart for my cart cooler when the ice machine was unavailable. But the “boss” seemed out of her element. First she was abrupt with the cart person re: someone waiting for something and then when I asked her what kind of craft beer she had she said “everything” and started rattling off a list of non-craft beers like Budweiser and Bohemian. This was all after she had disappeared into the back and the lone other customer had first yelled to her I was there and finally had to go back into the kitchen to retrieve her.

After finally determining there was one craft beer available she left it on the bar unopened and disappeared again. This time she returned after several loud shouts from the other customer.

It was a weird day at the golf course.

A deceptively challenging golf course in really good shape. Great value for weekday golf.

The improvements being made are much needed and look great,the check in room or whatever it is called is outstanding,! Keep it going, See you next week,!,,

For the price it’s not bad, fairways are pretty wide a lot of room to work with if you’re learning. Some spots on the fairway weren’t to well maintained but like I said for the price not bad.

Improvements continue and I enjoy playing here. It is a great course for a Walker like me. The staff is great.

Greens are good and fairways improving - keep it up!
