Overpriced for condition
The fairways are dead. It's a lot like playing Winter in North Carolina, rather than Southern California. I had to hit most of my approach shots from grass that was so dead it was like hitting off of bare ground.
The layout is ok for a flat course. I appreciate that there are so many par 5 holes. But, it's not always easy to find the cart path to get from one hole to the next.
$45 is a lot to pay for a course with dead fairways which might explain why there were so few players on the course when all other nearby courses were completely booked.
bad times
First time reviewer. Course was so bad I had to write. 40 minute delay to start. 3 hour, 7 minute front 9. 5somes on course. Course was in ok condition...at best. I will not be returning.

fair way is dry, found only one restroom in the course,you have to walk far to it after you finish your play

Winter conditions but greens are good
I really like this course. It’s old school with amenities that screams 1940’s county club. The staff are very COVID cautious ( they keep their distance) which comes off as indifferent. The course is in winter condition, it needs to be over seeded and watered, the greens are getting soft, so they are getting ready for aeration soon, but putts are true and challenging at times. Carts are basic with coolers and no navigation. All in all it’s a good time for the price, just don’t expect the Rivera. And you’ll enjoy.

Delayed due to cart
Everyone had to wait for the carts and the play was delayed for about 30 minutes. Either have enough carts to accommodate or book less groups.

Poor course management.
We waited almost 45 minutes, 35 minutes after our tee time to get a cart. Multiple players wrapping around to play extra holes. Many illegal pins. Possibly could be better on a weekday, but they over booked every tee time causing us to wait almost 20 minutes to tee off at every hole. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Course could be great
Course could use some water on the fairways, they were a little dry. Greens were in good shape minus all the divots left by inconsiderate golfers. Tee boxes need some work. Marshall needs to enforce pace of play, our tee time was 10:15 and we completed the round at 4:00.

One of the best I’ve played long difficult par 3’s and fast undulating greens that require your full attention

The condition of the course is horrible and not well taken care of. The fairways are bone dry and the greens are not consistent through all holes.

Arrowhead not what it used to be
Paid $27 hot deal. Teed off as a single. Joined the group behind me because it was playing quite slow in the front nine. I used to play this course with friends back when it was private. It has gone down considerably since those days. Rumor has it the new owner made it semi private, they are not taking the best care of the course even more so than before, and has already sold it to an investment firm. The investment firm will no doubt build on it. We saw this in Rancho with Empire Lakes. For now the practice facilities are amongst the best in the area but it’s not worth it because the conditions of the course are deplorable. Sadly I won’t be back.
