Fairways are too narrow and the hardest greens to play on in So Cal

Lots of Potential
Great track w/ a ton of potential to be a real gem. Just needs some TLC i.e. maintenance of tee boxes, fairways, & bunkers. Greens are good, nice and diverse w/ unique undulations. Could also us a solid tree trim/maintenance program. Overall, track is very enjoyable and pace of play was 4hrs. I’ll definitely play it again.

Slow Play
Unfortunately our foursome was playing behind a rowdy twosome who were driving erratically all over the course and playing very slowly. I called the clubhouse to no avail. I politely asked the twosome to pick up their place and they were rude and confrontational.

What a Gem!!
I seriously have lives here for 4 years (just started golfing since may) and wow! Just wow. This is a hidden little (more like long) gem. This course also has so much history and the scenery around sure tells a story. It's in the middle of the most beautiful neighborhood in san bernardino you litterally think your in a different city. Never even knew this existed ok let's get to the course
Course layout: mostly straight and long but that's what makes it challenging. Your drives better be dialed in.
Tee boxes: they some TLC but totally playable
Fairways: yellow-green but even when hitting off the faded grass you can tell it's very well watered and seems like they are trying to make the grass come in better.
Roughs: about 2 in maybe lower seriously you won't lose your balls here so feel free to hit your expensive balls.
Bunkers: very soft and not raked, some were lumpy but all really easy to get out of.
Greens: most consistent green I've played on in a while and gorgeous,
Scenary: your surrounded by beautiful homes you seriously feel like your playing in beverly hills, pasadena, temecula area.
Overall?: 10/10 this place is amazing and I'll be going down there a lot more
Definitely an "old school" country club design
This course was built in 1928! It is typical of courses built on a flat rectangular piece of property pre-1950s. The fairways run mostly parallel to each other and are mostly straight. They do have a lot of trees close to the fairways and roughs so they can come into play if you miss the fairway. I scored higher than I normally do because the greens are very undulating. It seems that the fairways are so straight and reasonably wide, they tried to add difficulty to the course by making the greens have considerable breaks even on shorter putts.
Tee boxes ok, fairways mostly ok. Greens were excellent for this time of year but areas right around the greens were poor on many holes and almost bare in places making it difficult to chip from close in.
I teed off at noon (as a single) and finished in 2.5 hours! I had a single in front of me and did not have to wait for any shots until the 15th hole! That's probably at least partially due to the ease of play until you reach the greens!

Nice Layout in Playabke condition
This us a good course with very nice greens The rest if the course needs attention but is very playable especially for the average golfer

Course Has Gone Downhill
It's not worth the money. Course is in pretty rough shape. Temporary tee boxes (were not told when we booked) little to no grass in the fairways, and water in half of the bunkers. The greens were pretty good but very inconsistent and no mow on a Friday morning. Very disappointed. Will not be returning and not recommending. The green fee at most should of been $35. Very wet everywhere also. Do yourself a favor and save your money or pay a little more and play somewhere else.

Tee boxes closed
Always a fun place to play. However, we were not informed of the tee boxes being closed. Every tee area was moved up between 30-50 yards, even on the par threes. Just didn’t seem right that they would charge full price. They didn’t even offer a discount on another round after they open the tee areas.
