Need a course Marshall
Fairways are in rough shape. Greens are nice but people aren't repairing their ball marks. Several groups were jumping around holes in front of us holding up play. Looked like younger kids. Overall nice day though.
Repeat good golf balue
Not just close to home but certainly the best value for the experience. Golf Now rewards deepens the sweet. Enjoy Arrowhead on my recommendation.
Good layout, challenging greens
But needs to finish updating clubhouse and get som restrooms
Great GolfNow hot deal connection
Course is a little rough but is a great setup. Very flat. You can walk if you want to. Beware it can play deceptively long. Great fun.
Decent for a muni
This is your basic muni course, expecting anything else or complaining it to anything else is just not fair. The greens were fun and challenging. The fairways were wide open with a lot of roll. The rough wasn’t rough at all. The back nine was more fun, especially dodging range balls on the 10th fairway, which is basically the landing area for every shanked ball from the driving range. All in all this was a fun course. It’s a little pricey for what it is but still cheaper than the nicer courses. I will be back, if I can’t find anywhere else to book.
Disappointing Day on the Greens
As a dedicated golfer always on the lookout for new courses to challenge my skills, I was excited to tee off at Arrowhead Country Club. However, my experience left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment.
First and foremost, the course maintenance was severely lacking. The fairways resembled unkempt lawns more than proper golfing terrain. I lost count of the number of times my ball disappeared into patches of overgrown rough, never to be seen again. It's as if the groundskeepers had abandoned their duties entirely.
To add insult to injury, the facilities were outdated and neglected. The clubhouse resembled a relic from the 1970s, complete with musty carpets and worn-out furniture. Even the restrooms left much to be desired, with questionable cleanliness that left me hesitant to even wash my hands.
But perhaps the most egregious offense was the lack of hospitality from the staff. Not once did I encounter a friendly smile or welcoming attitude. It seemed as though they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge the patrons.
In conclusion, my experience at Arrowhead was nothing short of a disappointment. From the subpar course conditions to the dismal facilities and lackluster service, it's safe to say that I won't be returning anytime soon. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a more reputable establishment for your next round of golf.
Great GolfPass value
Great Value. Course is decent shape, greens are very good. Bunker rakes (ALL OF THEM) need replacing. Better if they weren't even there. Splinters from fiber glass and wood are not fun.
Fairway was too hard. Maybe insufficient watering.
Horrible Experience for Junior Golfer
Drove an hour to golf at Arrowhead Country Club with my son. I booked a tee time for an adult and a junior golfer. I arrived at the course and went inside to check in and pay for our round. Horrible management advised my son is not welcome on the course due having jeans on. I told them we we unaware of any dress code requirements and were not advised when booking our tee time. The rude staff member said my son could not play unless I purchased shorts from them. Keep in mind it was a cold day. I told him I would not be purchasing shorts for him on a cold day in order for him to be able to play. The staff member would not make any exceptions so we left the course and will never be back. On the way to the parking lot we saw at least 5 golfers wearing jeans. Apparently they just don't like kids.
My son loves golf, and is part of the First Tee and Youth on Course programs. Keep your junior golfers away from this horrible course. I didn't appreciate explaining to my son why he couldn't play at this course.
Arrowhead Country Club is an absolute joke with horrible management.
what a value
Great reception from staff. t time was as advertised. Can't beat the value. Only problem is the rakes in the bunkers (I found quite a few of them) were all broken. Fiber glass shards and splintered wood. No good.
But the golf was great.
Not great for value or enjoyment
Greens had some rocks, patches everywhere since no one fills in divots, tee boxes were not great, and the greens were incredibly slow. Not only that, pins were in some ridiculous places, and if it's your first time playing this course, then you'll be surprised at seeing water in places since you can't see it off the tee or on your approach. Not great and do not recommend.
