Arrowhead Country Club

It has been a while since we last played this course. The solar panels in the parking lot is a plus to avoid hot seats in the car after the round.

The greens are okay, although the recently aerofied greens are not fully recovered.

The bad part about the course is the rearrangement of the back nine. The holes are out of sequence and are not directed. For us who are not familiar with the layout, it is very difficult to play the back nine without getting astray. Not only us. Other players are also driving around to find the right holes.

No Aerification alert when booking the tee time or would play another course.

I grew up at ACC. I hadn’t played it in awhile because the course had obviously declined. I heard the course had been purchased by a new ownership group who was really making an effort to return the course to its former glory. Well, it’s not perfect yet but what a difference. The greens are in fantastic condition. The fairways are mostly great. Still a few spots on a few holes but definitely headed in the right direction. I saw tons of workers on the course and they were all aware of the players and very nice. It pains me to go to my old home town these days but Arrowhead is certainly trying to do it’s part to bring it back. Keep up the good work!

Played Arrowhead today and had a good time, course is a challenge with 3 of 5 par 3's over or close to 200 yards. Fairways have nice lies because they are at least 50% crab grass. Ball does not roll out much because of the nature of crab grass. Greens looked a little bad, but putted very true for a change. Right now maybe too much grab grass around greens a bit harder to chip off of. When it gets cold I am wondering when the grab grass dies out are the fairways and around greens going to get bare lies?

This course is definitely getting better, I believe it's from the new ownership. Compared to a couple years ago, you'd barely recognize this course with all the improvements. The fairways are much nicer, the trees look amazing now and the greens aren't as slow as they used to be. Props to the new owners. The bathroom is still disgusting and there is never any soap (gross), so hopefully they can rectify that in the very near future. I do enjoy washing my hands with soap after using the restroom, lol.

Overall arrowhead has stepped up their game. Overall, the greens look great fairways are very maintenance. It would be nice if they had an indoor clubhouse.

We've played the course many times and this is the best condition it's been in a very long time. The improvements are obvious and much appreciated. Kudos to Mike and Fariel!

The new layout is a little confusing and a couple holes have no signage. But other then that Arrowhead is getting back to great conditions. Greens were great. Fairways are a work in progress. Tee boxes 80% good. Over all a great round of golf UNDER 4 HOURS!!!!

Enjoyed a good round this last Sunday

Wife and I played as a twosome. Pace of play was great on this particular Sunday. (8:30am tee time) done by 1pm

Greens were punched about 3 weeks ago, so they will be real nice in the next week or so. Still rolled nice. Bunkers could use little work but overall good times. Support this nice old school golf course
