Lincoln Park Golf Course

The SF parks and recreation department needs to step up maintenance and course amenities. There are no garbage cans so beer cans litter the tee boxes. There are no hole information signs. There are pedestrians walking over the course and we had to hit around a junkie zoning out on the 17th fairway. The clubhouse amenities were old and tattered

That said the views were gorgeous. The course is historic. It's like a faded old movie star.

Without knowing it, we went on booked play on March 20th and surprised! There were a few temporary greens where original greens were fully covered by sands.

Hope there should be warning or something to alarm us before we book a tee time.

This has got to be the most poorly maintained course I have ever played at yet the conditions inside the clubhouse managed to be even worse. They charge $50 for the round and another $30 for the cart - where in the world is this money going?? I suspect that the staff must be pocketing some of the money and I hope someone will audit the situation. The staff, by the way, are easily the most rude I have ever encountered. Stay far away!

scenic old course -great layout-not alot of grass on fairways-greens not very good

Course condition is ok. But the rental fee for a pull cart was unbelievably high as $20, too much.

I don’t know why, but this course is a bit of a dog track. The fairways are meh and the greens are not good. The place is just terribly maintained! Cleary with some professional effort it could be a nice city course, just look at the nearby public access courses. The city should get the Harding team over there for a few months. It’s got great views so it’s a bit sad the course isn’t the same.
