Nice course, great weather but not so nice clientele
Santa Barbara municipal golf course is a very nice golf course and when you're playing in the weather of Santa Barbara which is usually temperate, even in July, it doesn't get a whole lot better. However we were being rushed by the golf assistant and the people behind us who weren't kind enough to not tee off when we were not quite out of their way, We also arrived on a par three at the crest of the hill and shut down into it without realizing they had maintenance people working in the middle of that hole without letting anyone know, which of course is only to their detriment. Other than those few things we had a great time.
Great track for the $
Pleasantly surprised. Paid $80 (with $10 reward) for 2 player’s. @145p Drove up from LA to best the heat & it was‘ worth the drive

Beautiful weather, good course, pace of play slow, but at least golfers in front & back of us were friendly.
Thirsty in Santa Barbara
This course has no water available to golfers and makes no effort to inform them. The only option is the cart which I saw twice in 18 holes. The whole place has a cavalier attitude about supporting the very people pay the green fees. Would like to, but can't recommend.
Enjoyable golf course!!
Don’t let the yardage on the scorecard fool you, this is a very challenging course that plays long do to fescue fairways and rolling terrain. The course was in very good shape, some of the best greens I’ve seen on a municipal golf course. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody..
Mighty Muni Rules !
As always course conditions were perfect. Scott and staff couldn’t have been nice. Three of us teed off at 1:40 and finished in four hours. Score and weather in mid seventies. Greens and fairways rolling perfect…moderate rough…cocktail at mulligan’s post round…perfect day.
Great public course in the heart of Santa Barbara
I was pleasantly surprised with this course, well kept, excellent service at the pro shop, nice range, ideal weather...
Pace was slow but course is in good condition. Had a great round with another family. I will play here again.
