Bennett Valley Golf Course

First off, I do want to commend the club on its maintenance and preparation of the bunkers. Also, the staff in the shop were friendly. This, unfortunately is where the positives end. Pace of play for our group was 5 hrs 22 minutes. When I asked my group which had all played here before, they confirmed that this is fairly normal for this golf course. This is comical given that there are minimal hazards/OB and the course plays roughly 6550 from the back tees. There were times where 3 groups would be backed up on a par 3 tee area. No marshal or playing assistant was ever sighted. This was my major issue. A secondary, yet equally troubling, issue is the lack of beverage availability. The restaurant that was on site has been closed. There is also no vending machine or any source to obtain refreshments on property. With summer having fully arrived and temps being in the 90’s, you would think they would make arrangements with a vendor to supply a cold case for beverages at a bare minimum. So, if choosing to play here, bring your own cooler and stock it full, as you will most likely be subject to a 5+ hour round of golf. My suggestion would be to chose a different golf course as there are plenty in the area in better shape and with better pace of play at a similar price point.

We always enjoy playing Bennett Valley. It’s a fun course, staff is always helpful and friendly. They are very reasonably priced. .

1st time I've played course this year and found it in good condition, greens in excellent shape. Look forward to visiting again

It was a fabulous day, the course is always in pristine condition. No golf course is perfect, there will always be that super slow foursome, but if you plan on a 5 hour round, you'll be fine

I love this course. I hate seeing "save Bennet Valley GC". Politicians are tying to close this course. Rake in the bunkers. Waiting for the cart person or the bar to open.

Why are we paying $ 2 for course management Or is the tip for the pro shop. Shady..

It’s a good thing I play there often. Because golf now was telling me it was 29 per person. But it was only 14. Golf now needs to update and be aware of twilight rates!

The course was in fairly good condition, but there was no off course amenities and the pace of play was fairly slow, probably because the course does not spread out the tee times enough.

This is a gem in the North Bay! I hope every effort is made to keep it open!

Driving accuracy is important, because otherwise, you will not have a clear shot to the green on most par 4s. This adds challenge to what is otherwise a not too difficult course.
