Bennett Valley Golf Course

This course gets a lot of play & for good reason. It has a simple old school design. There are only a few holes that don't lie on flat ground. Basically, everything is right in front of you here. Greens are poa & they are quite tricky. Overall good value golf course. And right now its in great shape.

Work that was done fairways has been a success !!! Conditions were better than ever after rain !!

There was a frost delay the day I played and the staff handled it very well. The pro shot staff was excellent and promptly paired me up with a local twosome. Enjoyed the round very much.

Course was in great shape after the rains. What more can I say? Next time I won't write a review. You should ask for a long drawn out synopsis.

Course was in great condition for how much weather and play it gets. The staff was as nice as could be. Will play this every year when we're in town for the holidays!

Pace of play was fast, teed off at 12:15pm. Course was in very good condition, nice fast greens, nice course to walk. $22 was a great deal.

Bennet valley is a city run course and they do a fantastic job. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the greens and fairways are always well groomed. It like every course is suffering from the drought with some bare patches but overall, with all things considered the team do a great job presenting a nice playable, affordable golf course.

Vary slow play I only play there when I have all day there is know marshells on the course and know one fallows the rulls they all play slow .'!!!!!!

We live the layout of Benett Balley Golf Course. We love Bob and his staff in the pro shop. Rthe food especially the chicken wings in the restaurant. Outstanding!
The course is well kept.
What we don't like is the "pace of Play". Which you can't really blame the course for, not really. However you can get the marshals out there to hustle those that the no they are playing for the PGA tour and a million dollar prize.

Okay looking course. Nice pro shop, nice employees. Low green fees. And ridiculously crowded and slow everyday. I live in town. Have played 6 times, but will Never again. Last round: walked off the course at the 12th hole, 5hours 30 minutes!

Course attracts lots of young hooligans who carry cases of beer and drink it all during game. Lots of bad behavior. You've been warned!

Nice long, straight fairways to get a good long drive. Be sure to stay right on the 1st hole so you can see the green and shoot it over the creek. Lots of chances to par some of the holes.

Two groups on each hole---2 1/2 hours for 9 holes--so slow my clothes went out of style. Players took so long to putt.

Missed our tee time because of holiday traffic . Pro shop understood and fit us in within a half hour. Great and friendly stalf. Course in very good shape , considering drought , greens in great shape.

This is a very good course and in very good condition. It has a section of the driving range dedicated to practicing with irons on grass, a nice pro shop and restaurant, and a good putting green. My only real knock is that some of the bunkers were a little light on sand but they were not that bad.

All-in-all, this is a very good muni course at a good price.

California is in a sever drought, but Bennett Valley is still nice and green. The front nine has good charcter, but the back nine has 4 or 5 holes that run parrell to each other and look the same. The tee boxs are alright and the fairways were in good shape, Bunkers had wet, muddy sand, but that may because I played VERY early in the morning. The greens were good, but a bit slower than what I am use to.

Nice public course that gets lots of play during the summer months . Rates are good if you walk, comparable to other local courses if you ride. Unlikely to get a four hour round here. Almost never see a ranger. Front nine is more interesting than the back. Mature landscape with lots of trees. I like playing here but slow play can be annoying. Afternoons have club events during the week that go off both nines which is unfortunate if you make the turn after that happens.

On this Father's Day, I got to do what I believe many Dads would prefer to do on our day...spend it doing something I enjoy! GOLFING!
The course is in tip-top condition. The ball ran a good distance on the Fairways but they were green and lush. The Greens were great..no browning or dead spots, all green and lush too, even got some ball marks on landing. The wildlife was out in full review, including deer, turkeys and cranes. Just a great day!

The course is in great shape and the staff were extremely friendly.

First time playing on Saturday afternoon. Played blue tees which didn't seem long but you are in trouble if you don't hit it straight. Tight tree lined fairways on the front made for a challenging start. Back nine is more open but had longer par 4s. Greens were very smooth and fairly fast for a municipal course. Pace was reasonable for a weekend. I would definitely play again and make sure to warm up so tee shots would be straighter.

Nice course, staff was not impressive. We had a tee time booked for 3, they added a 5 some walk on in front of us after they called us up to be next. After we teed off 20 minutes late, they added a single walk on to our 3. Called in food on the 9th tee off, waited for nearly ten minutes before got service after arriving at bar pick up. The bartender gave us attitude about splitting our three meals and helped four other people while our food was getting cold just so he could split the bill. Not very impressed.
