Bennett Valley-late May
$1 mimosas.... Wide open fairways! Overall great! Being a municipal course, landscaping could use some work

It was a very nice course with excellent conditions and a great scenic view as far as municipals go. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Always A Treat
It's always a pleasure to play a course that's in good shape. I don't know how they do it with all they play the course gets, but it's always in good shape. The greens were firm, fast and rolled true. Always a good day at BVGC - Thanks guys!
Excellent way to spend the day
Course was in very good condition considering drought. Every hole something different which is unique to public muni course
BEST OF THE BEST!!
OMG!! I hadn't played this course since 1996, and refuse to do so, because of the overall conditions, and 5 hr rounds. But GolfNow had a "Killer Deal" with cart, that I couldn't resist. I'd heard from fellow golfers, that the course was in great shape, new club house, restaurant, and City of Santa Rosa had pluck down $$$$$$$ to improve the course. Bottom line, "I'LL BE BACK!!
The 5 hour play didn't go away, but BRAVO on course conditions, I.E. greens, sand traps, fairways, tee boxes.
This course is a great value
Great staff, great price, best deal in the State, tree lined fairways, no fairway bunkers, for ones who hate sand

B.V. is in good shape. Even tho the greens were aerated recently they putted very well. Look forward to going back soon and shoot my age!!!
Greens had been punched and sanded
I feel there should be some compensation when the greens are like this.

Overall course in great condition.sometimes tends to be slow. that's only negative about the course

Course was well maintained. Tree are an issue on nearly every hole. Will play again.

good shape bad pace
Course was in good shape with the greens rolling nicely. Pace of play as usual was incredibly slow even for a Wednesday as we finished just under 5 hour round mark.
Good condition.
The course is in great condition, staffs are really friendly but 18 holes pace of play is supper slow.
First Time at Bennett
Overall very pleasant experience. Paired up with a couple of locals that provided course knowledge. Mostly up and back type of golf course, lots of trees and a few narrow fairways. Keep heads up for stray balls. Pace of play a little slow 4:45 but it was a Sunday when all was out.
Easy Round
Was an easy round to get through. 4.5 hour round. Greens are in great shape.
Good local course
Course is run by the city and rates are reasonable. Some slope on parts of the course but for the most part the slope is limited but every fairway is tree lined and you need to stay in the fairway to score well. Twilight rates start fairly early but that is needed as it can easy take 5 hours to make a round on this course.
Love it
Tough greens and always in good shape. Front 9 and back are different, making it interesting.
Nor Cals best muni
A consistently well kept up course, front nine could compare to many private courses. Grounds superintendent should be hired out to other courses on how to maintain a superb course. Value is fantastic. A gem.
Good Public Course
Hole #1 is a challenge if not positioned well after 2nd shot. Stay right of the huge Oak or approach is blocked. This course give you no love with the tree lined fairways so best to keep it somewhere in the middle. Greens are very receptive for pin seeking. Par 5's are relitively short and can be reached in 2 with a good tee shot. Well maintained for the quantiy of play this course receives, but pace of play was a lot slower than I'm used to. I would not allow 5 somes before 2:00 PM

This course is very good shape considering the drought in CA. Greens were average speed and play in the middle of the day was very good. Easy course to walk.
