Bennett Valley Golf Course

Great value, beautiful surroundings. Lots of tall trees on some narrow fairways to really think about course management. Greens were firm with a lot of variation in levels. Greens were in excellent shape. Pace on a Saturday was very reasonable. I really enjoyed this track and will be back again.

Golf course is always in phenomenal condition for the amount of play that this course receives. Greens are great and roll true. There are some TOUGH pin placements! Pace of play on Sunday afternoon was pretty good (4 1/2 hours). If you have not played here, it is well worth the price of admission.

Very nice course very good greens I will play again

The course was in very good condition and greens were challenging. The pace of play was a little slow initially but picked up on the back nine. Our starting time was delayed by about 20 minutes, but all slots were full foursomes. A good course and the value was great.

We found the gentleman who checked us in to be very rude... based on this I will never play this course again. He had the nerve to get on our case about missing our tee time when in fact we were early... he demanded we call next time.

Conditions where great , must hit straight and stay out of tree line. Had a great time for first timers. I'll be back!

This is one of the nicest muni courses in the Bay Area. Challenging but not above a typical amateur. I like how the "time per hole” target is posted on the scorecard. If you’re a conscientious player it helps keep you on task. The only negative for the day was a men’s Bennett Valley club member was playing in the group behind us: he called the clubhouse to complain that we were playing too slow. We finished the front nine in 4:09 (ahead of the target). I approached the men’s club member at the turn and told him that we were ahead of schedule. Our group reminded him that he wasn’t at a country club and to remember to HAVE FUN.

Other than that I had a great day.

Easy access; friendly staff; course in very good condition; bargain price; beautiful surroundings, with hills, mature trees, wildlife; excellent greens; worth the drive; will play again. Senior golfer 74 yrs old.

Slow play on Memorial day,,played behind two 5 somes

I really like this course. Easy to walk and greens are always in great shape. My one complaint is lack of water to drink on the course. It is warm out and whether walking or riding, would be nice to have some water coolers out there.

My Son and I were paired with a young girl and her brother from Novato. Nice people. We started on time, followed a threesome of hackers and had surprisingly only waited on a few shots. Great day but a little windy.

The course was in very good condition, except some greens that are still recovering from recent aeration. Had an 8AM tee time and played in 4 hours (fastest time ever for me at that course). Very friendly staff and great clubhouse.

The greens are just in the final stages of recovering from air ration a few weeks ago. Play moved a long pretty well and the course was in great shape. You get a lot of extra roll on your ball which is good for me.

Course was pretty open and our twosome played without delay. They were sanding some of the greens which made for some challenging putts. Beautiful course with plenty of challenging features.

The course setting is beautiful in the mountatins with deer on course. It is always in great shape. The only downside is the rounds can take long on weekends. But I played at a time of low demand and finished in 3 hrs, 50 minutes. Very enjoyable day.

Do not let groups of 5 play when they are walking and are 80+ years old. Slowest 9 holes ever, 3 hours.

Good value for a well runned course. Staff very professional and courteous. Course in excellent condition.
