Palm Valley Golf Club - North/West

Every time I go to Wigwam and have a bad experience, I regret not going to Palm Valley instead. The course is always better maintained and the cart workers always greet me and do their job without giving me attitude. Even the pro-shop employees show me more respect. I’ve been playing both courses for 20 years now.

Course was in great condition today. The mowers were out cutting and both the fairways and greens were in great shape after the rain of the past week or so. Hope to get out there again soon.

The Fairways were in pretty bad shape. I guess for the money it was okay, but probably won't come back this year. The twosome we were with, quit after 9 because the course was in such bad shape.

Greens were very good! Love the north to south combo!

The course was in great condition. The layout is awesome on the South and North Course. It is a fun track to play.

Only issue was our tee times were delayed by 40 minutes and it was slow play for the initial 5 holes. Nonetheless we all (two groups) enjoyed our round and the quality of Palm. Valley.

The fairways need work. The tee box's need to be moved more often and reseeded. Greens were pretty good though. Just not worth $65+.

We played a round today and the West course was in decent shape but the North course is in desperate need of watering. Also, we were a foursome with a twosome in front of us and behind us. The did not schedule them together so we were obviously playing slower than either group and there was a gap in front of us. There was no one in the snack bar at the turn so we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up. After the turn which we hit in less than two hours the ranger named Craig told us we needed to play faster and followed is for three holes. Totally rude and uncalled for. It is not our fault at how they scheduled the groups to go out. We were able to finish in 4:20 which is really not that bad of a round. But because of the ranger harassing us it turned in to a very bad experience. It was such a bad experience that I will not go back there. There are so many options for golf in the area, don’t wast your time with this course where they don’t respect their customers.

Cups sticking up out of the holes, tee boxes that should be closed and re-sodded, bunkers with just a veneer of sand... I love the course, but it is not in good shape right now. Certainly not worth the premium rate they’re charging today.

It was too crowded. The staff crammed as many golfers as possible. We ran out of daylight due to slow pace. The marshal should've been out there to push the pace.
