Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

First mild rainy day of the season so many people cancelled. Played by myself so I didn't catch up to the group ahead until Hole 16. This is an old course that does not absorb water well. Super muddy when not on grass. Can't imagine how much more muddy after a couple days of rain. Good inexpensive course when dry. No driving range to warm up.

Course condition was not so good. It's getting worse nowadays.

Aside from a couple tee boxes being humps the course was maintained really well, unfortunately my only double of the round was due to a snap hook having my feet below the ball. Second group out on a Sunday and played under 4 hours. Although the first group didn’t seem to fix one single ball mark their entire round, the course staff were friendly and made sure pace of play was fast. Greens were pretty dang fast even for a humid morning but very receptive for approaches.

Greens, fairways are good conditions except people's playing bad manner.

Appears the Golf Shop Staff does not like Golf Now patrons. Staff always wants to see my reservation number at check-in (no other course has ever required I provide the reservation number). Municipal course with city employees on a power trip who don't care if you ever come back. Played here numerous times and the Golf Shop Staff always has an attitude. Course is nothing special but good value for the money.
