Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

Aside from a couple tee boxes being humps the course was maintained really well, unfortunately my only double of the round was due to a snap hook having my feet below the ball. Second group out on a Sunday and played under 4 hours. Although the first group didn’t seem to fix one single ball mark their entire round, the course staff were friendly and made sure pace of play was fast. Greens were pretty dang fast even for a humid morning but very receptive for approaches.

Greens, fairways are good conditions except people's playing bad manner.

Appears the Golf Shop Staff does not like Golf Now patrons. Staff always wants to see my reservation number at check-in (no other course has ever required I provide the reservation number). Municipal course with city employees on a power trip who don't care if you ever come back. Played here numerous times and the Golf Shop Staff always has an attitude. Course is nothing special but good value for the money.

Almost every green on the front 9 where covered with smelly sand so you were putting on sand. No grass. Quite on a Tuesday afternoon though

Course was in very nice condition and the weather was clear blue sky with sunny warm temperatures. Ideal for golf.

This Friday morning round took 5 hours however with frequent pile ups of two or three flights of four players frequently waiting at the same tee box. Situation required a marshall to intervene and move things along and perhaps more spacing of departing flights from the 1st tee.

Otherwise a very pleasant round of golf.
