Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

Booked a Sunday twesome with a buddy and thought it was a good round. Pace of okay was great.. Didn't have to wait as I thought there would be backups. Decent conditions on the fairway, greens were "soft" and nice. Bunkers were abit hard, firm. There were some muddy areas around the course but overall was good. Easy to walk.

The staff man was very unfriendly. My confirmation number wasn't enough for him. He said it was only the reservation number.(He's wrong). He asked me my ID!!! I have played golf for years, and never needed to saw it.

Good pace (for us, beginners). Likely too slow for better golfers. No driving range was a bummer. Fairways super wide and straight — hard to loose balls here. But wish there was less goose poop. There was a lot.

The green was so slow, but the pace of play was even slower. I needed to wait 3~5 minutes at every tee box & 2~3 minutes per every other shots. And the round itself took longer than 5 hours.

Second time this happened when I was almost denied playing. The starter in the Pro Shop will not accept even a printed email receipt confirmation through GolfNow- they demand to see the email directly from your phone. No phone- no play. Delete email? No play. Plus the guy was a real jerk who just repeated over and over "These are the Rules"

Not worth the hassle- Dried greens and fairways- sand is like dried mud.

Great Muni course in the South Bay. Friendly layout for golfers of all skill levels and pace of play was 4.5 hours on Sunday morning. Looking forward to next round at Sunnyvale Muni.

Is to play an easy course like Sunnyvale golf course. Tee boxes and fairways are great. Greens were a little slow but true. Also, it is a par 70. So it sounds better when I tell my golf buddies I shot an 89 instead of an equivalent of 91. It is easy to walk and pace of play on a weekday took 4:35 to play. It was slow at times but I don’t waste my energy complaining on something I can’t control. Good value for this public course.

Course lay out is OK and fairways also good except green has so many deep ball marks .

Excellent greens and fairways. I walked the course using a cart and it was an enjoyable round with temperatures in the low 80’s in the afternoon.

Has a good balance of openness with a few challenging holes. Very good for the average golfer and the begininer.

You won’t get into that much trouble so it is a good for a practice or low stress round

Course was in decent shape, some areas were over watered and some areas bare dry. Greens were in above average shape and balls rolled smoothly
