Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

So Solid
Second time playing the course. Well kept greens, good pace of play. Fun for all.
Sand on greens
Wished they’d let us know that there’d be light sand on the greens.
Nobody said anything when we checked in.
I guess they recently seeded the tee boxes, and they were thick, but also a bit muddy. I don’t understand why they don’t just use the same grass as the fairways on the tee boxes, because the fairway grass is awesome right now. Truly, the only tee boxes that may need extra care would be the Par 3s, so why do the tee boxes get the lush rye grass overseed in the winter when the fairway is the standard right Bermuda? Seems like an awful waste of time and money. Most of the tee boxes were too thick to get a clean strike with the irons on the Par 3s.
The bunkers are some kind of weird mud type, that when wet like they were today, are kinda chunky and not very nice to hit out of.
Bit pricey for what it is.
Great course, but beware of the greens
This was a good course. Challenging, with some hills and well placed trees. The greens were challenging, since they are hilly. Many times good shots to the green would not stay on and just roll off. If you are not a great short player, this may not be a great course to try out. The lakes are somewhat empty too, which makes it look bad. Otherwise, its is a good course and in good condition too.
Played with my son and one other person. Pace was great until around hole #7, when we caught up with several foursomes. Still finished in 4 1/2 hours. Conditions were much better than I anticipated considering the ongoing extreme drought. Greens were receptive yet quick to putt and (as always) challenging. Always an enjoyable round to play here.

Friendly staff, beautiful facility, and great value. Pace of play was amazing. 4 hour round on the weekend. I will be back.

Fast greens except for they have recently
airaited so not all greens have same speeds.
Carts are tech enabled and very helpful.
