About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Slow slow slow
Tee time was 11:30 they moved to 12 did not tee off until 1245
Artificial Difficulty in Putting
As the name of the course indicates, this course was famous for good and fast greens. However, now the greens are extremely hard to putt your ball in a hole, as hole cups slant to the left or to the right. Unless your putting speed is perfect for putting, your ball will bounce back after going in. Three putts and four putts are easy to make. I am not a pro. Hence, I wouldn't go there again IF they do not fix the greens as they were in the past when they were fast but very straight if you could read the break.
One of the Best Courses in LA Area
You may feel your driving distance may have reduced after playing at this course but due to the softness of its fairway. Hence, the actual yardage is longer than what is stated on the scorecard by 20 - 30 yards at every hole. This course is one of the best in terms of course layout, staff friendliness, and its adjacent restaurant. I always feel this course is worth about 50 miles driving. My favorite course! Try, and you'll like the course.
Painfully slow
Pace of play was painfully slow. At many tee boxes, there were 3-4 group stacked up waiting. The course marshal said nothing could be done. Finished the round in the dark. A terrible value.
Management should examine its booking policy and ensure that no overbooking occurs.
Unreal
Actually still on the course. They were having an event so first off it took nearly 25 minutes to park where I ended up parking about a block away. Now to the course. Our time was 1:20 to which we got off at 1:35. It’s now almost 3:30 and we’re sitting at the box on #5. There are 2 groups in front of us. Just doing some math this would be almost an 8 hour round. They should be ashamed to let this happen. To top it off the cart says 22 min behind????
