Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Los Robles 2/2019
It has been a cool rainy week and today is the same.
The Pro shop is well stocked and has a friendly staff.
Golf carts are equipped with GPS and have usb charging ports. No delay to our 11:45 start time and without any visible golfers ahead or behind us we completed the course in 3+30. Some distance was lost on the fairways due to the rain but the greens played true with a lot of one putts. We will be back to play this course!
Since GC Superintendent Ron Curly left the course is in lousy condition. Not what it was. Too bad after a major remodel.
always a fun time at Los Robles
good value for the money. pace of play was slow because it was the first sunny day in a couple weeks and every golfer in the area was on the course.
Great course ,unfortunately pace of play poor
This was the first time I’ve played this course. In fact, I didn’t finish the round. The course had a tournament booked ahead of my round. It’s a shame because I thought the course conditions and layout were great. At one par three my group had to wait nearly 15-20 minutes while other groups were lining up behind us. The final straw for me was when we were waiting at the 10th tee. A foursome from the tournament, after making a stop for at the clubhouse, informed us that needed to go ahead of us to join the tournament. I soon left after that. I still think that the course is worth another try. Just on another day . Perhaps midweek.
Good Day
Course is in good shape. the greens were a little slow for my liking but not bad at all. I will be playing here again next wednesday.
Good layout
The greens were really good the fairway were average. Good course with some challenging holes it will be better to play a second time because you need to know where to hit the ball on some holes
LR Greens
On the pricey side. A very nice older course with many side by side fairways. Awesome staff throughout the course was a big plus.
Starter was not at the 1st tee. 1st hole had people standing in the fairway. People on the green walking around seemed to be lost. Way too many people that did not know how to play golf or acted like they had never been on a golf course. People riding in golf carts seemed to be lost. The entire round went that way. This is an area where golfers should be required to complete so many hours of golf instruction and physical lessons before being allowed on a course.
Potential / Almost
Wanted to try this course, after reading the reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect. Entering the Pro Shop I was greeted by a friendly young man, he checked me in but didn’t really explain the situation. He didn’t ask if I was familiar with the course, cart location, starter, location of practice facilities etc. there was 3 other employees also in the shop. He gave me a receipt for the starter and I asked where the starter is located. The putting green and range were fine, however there was no starter or ranger of any kind the rest of the day. The fairways had just been arerated over the last 2 days and were very messy / muddy. There was no alert on GolfNow and I would have waited to play this course under better conditions. The overall layout, routing, green settings, and hole variety were all pretty nice. The back 9 was more interesting with greater elevation changes and more creative shot requirements. The pace of play was slow, remember no starter or ranger. And the fairways were under repair which added to the slow play, this course is also right beside highway 101 so it is very noisy especially the front 9.
This is one of the more playable and interesting courses in the area, however it appears to need a complete management interaction change.
An interactive staff that’s involved and connected to the customer always produces better results, I have played golf all over the US and Europe and for some reason this part of California seems to be disconnected and lacking in customer service and hands on attentiveness. My favorite courses are the historic ones in New England, where customer service and pride are paramount. Thanks
Los at the Greens
Course was great, staff was great. Shoot 80 n change. If I would have hit mid 70’s the day would have been Perfect like the facility
Best value around
Played 18 in 4 hours.
The course conditions were beautiful with some recent improvements to its landscape and design.
Definitely a 5 Star Rating.
