Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Course was a good shape
Nice tricky greens
Little overpriced for a 2:10 tee time
Need a Marshall to push very slow people along
People in front of us playing blues but could only hit 80 yards with no golf etiquette whatsoever
Gem of a public course tucked into the hills near Ventura
Had the opportunity to play Los Robles for the first time. Played as a single with the course pro and a couple other singles. Great condition, very technical course with a lot of protected greens and fast greens.
Now that I have played the course for the first time I am ready to play again with a little more course knowledge. The tree lines on either side of the course make for unforgiving errant tee shots but the overall experience was excellent.
Courae amenities are great with an on course snack bar with full bar and excellent service.
If yoi have the chance, just do it!
Great course
I would definitely play here again. Course was getting aerated was the only downfall but that’s not their fault. Almost done with it
Good course
Green tip… there are mountains to one side of the course and highway on the lower side. Putts break fast or toward the highway, even if flat putt, grain will add more roll out. Bunkers are a mess but otherwise course in decent shape. Was given a large bucket of balls to hit before round (to many for me to finish) which was not expected. Will go again next week to get another crack at it.
Good to know. Thank you!
A Fantastic Return to Los Robles: Better Than Eve
I was pleasantly surprised by the overall condition of Los Robles Golf Course. Having moved away from the area, it had been over five years since I last played here, and I was impressed with the improvements.
The greens were outstanding, especially for a public facility. The upgraded green complexes and the deep, "old school" bunkers with traditional "lips" added a great touch to the course's character. The fairways were in great shape, even with some grasses dormant this time of year.
The only minor downside was the grass height on the tee boxes, which could use a little shortening.
As for the pace of play, the front nine was excellent, and while the back nine slowed a bit, it was still a great experience for such a high-demand facility.
Overall, Los Robles has really raised its game, and I’m looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommended for golfers of all skill levels. ⛳️
