Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Not Happy!!!!
Hello fellow golfers,
Los Robles has gone thru some administration changes and not good for the golfers. The powers to be have elected not to have Marshalls, I understand only on weekends," bad choice" We had played in back of a foursome that thought every shot should take about 10 minutes for all for players. So we had a 5 hour round. yes on Thursday afternoon. At 1 point they were 21/2 holes behind of the group in front of them.
We have already decided the weekend rounds are too long and too expensive for us with a minimum of 5 hours up to 5 1/2 hours for the round that is just too long. I hope the powers to be read this letter and get some of the 10 marshals which were laid off back on the course and increase the pace of play and make the golfing population happy again
Los Robles continues to increase the green fees and slow play, There are too many other courses in the immediate area which take a lot less time to play and the green fees are pushing the $80 mark on the weekends. Residents are getting a little discount but
most of the time Golf Now has a better $$ Sorry Los Robles I hope you get your act together. They staff is great and the course is OK but management has to take care of the pace of play not only on the weekends but thru the week too
Consistant as the day is long
Course is always good and staff friendly!
Pace of play can vary but guess thats par for any course on weekends. I will come back!
good day
It would have been nice to know that the greens were being aerated. Might have chosen differently. All told, nice layout...decent but chilly weather...crowded but 4 hour round...so, people were moving along. Yardage appropriate for the level of player. Its a nice track that probably plays 3 shots a side easier in warmer weather.
Fun Course!
I enjoyed playing this course quite a bit. Played the next day as well. The layout is really interesting and the sand traps are dangerous. But I still really had fun.
Unfortunate
Unfortunately we booked the time on line at Golf Now and when we got to the course, that said oh we are sorry but only the front 9 is open.. Did Golf Now tell you, because its NON REFUNDABLE.
NO Golf Now did not tell us.
YES they also had a scramble tournament
Yes they also had Womens team out there
IT WAS PACKED EXTREMELY SLOW and not worth the price or waiting a long time between holes... Unfortunate unenjoyable round.. Oh and we had to start on hole 6 and 4.5 hours into it we had only played 13 holes.. so we left!
Above Average
Very friendly golf staff. The group I played with were great. The greens were a little bumpy ( probably still recovering from being punched ) .The fairways were spotty in areas and the worst part of the round was the tournament in front of us. There was no Marshall and had to wait on ever hole / shot. I do not know what format they were playing but seeing all four players hit from one spot and then hit from another spot is a new game I've never seen before.
Great Day Out
The course was in good shape and the greens were running fairly quick and true. Overall, a very fair track. Weak shots can get punished as there are some sizable slopes that feed the ball well away from the green in places.
golfing at los robles
Greens in very goog condition worth the money to play
I have not been here In a while. I feel generally that their rates are high and that is why I usually stay away.
Rates are high for the quality of course.
Good Muni
Very cool design played tough due to me hitting in the incorrect areas.
Played it in the winter lots of different grasses and lots wood chip areas but played decently fair will be back come summer to see if it shines in season
Slowest Round Ever! (6+ Hours)
Normally one of my favorite go-to courses, they had 3 tournaments stacked back to back to back. Our tee time was 11:36am but didn't get off until 12:15pm. We we're 90+ minutes after 5 holes, with a 4 group back-up at hole 6. My buddy and the group in front quit after 9. There was no enforcement of pace of play. Felt like the course got greedy and overbooked tournaments. Total turnoff. Sadly, Los Robles is off my list for now.
condition
course was in good shape for wintertime. greens fast but nice. bunkers need better sand and some revamping.
Good day, nice course but iffy service in the bar
Busy day on the course so the guys in the pro shop were friendly enough, business like and provided good service. Starter put us in front of a 11:30 a.m. group because they were not ready so that was nice. Had to wait on every hole and the Par 3's backed up a bit but like I said it was a busy day. Fairways and greens were in okay shape and I like the course lay out. A little hilly and some dog legs here and there, fun course to play. One bad thing is the at the turn we quickly went to the bar to get a drink and a few beers and the place was pretty much empty (few older gentlemen just finishing their lunch) but the bar tender seemed un-interested in getting us serviced so we can get back on the course. Guess you needed to look a certain way to get her attention. Someone else came in after us and she quickly asked what he needed and took his money and moved him along quickly. Filed it as "it is what it is" and got back to the tenth tee as quickly as we could but that put us behind a bit. We kept it moving along pretty much playing boggy golf (with a par here and there) but around the 15 tee the Marshall shows up and tells us we are about a hole behind, which was about right. Mentioned to him we lost time at the turn. He explained to me the bar tender was a grandma, which I can believe. It is nice thing to tend bar at a golf course if that what someone wants to do but despite whoever is tending bar, that person needs to keep the players on the course moving along or the result will be delays. A few months ago and was sitting in that bar and recall hearing this bar tender going on about the good old days and how she was planning moving up north.., chasing a town that looked the way TO or Camarillo used to look. Maybe she ought to do that. Bottom line to this review is Los Robles Golf Course is a good place to play, just BYOB, food and steer of the bar.
