Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Great old oak trees, elevation changes and dog legs
Played as a twosome at 6:56AM. Caught a walking foursome on hole 7. They would not let us through so we played each hole twice playing 2 balls each. Finishing hole 18 a Marshall came up and asked if we paid for an additional 18 holes SINCE he was in the group in front who wouldn't let us through and noticed we played each hole twice with 2 balls each! I had a GREAT time playing on this beautiful old course until the golf police showed up with the intent of ruining my day! So I went into the golf shop, after finishing in less than 4 hours and asked the GM if I owed any more money and if the philosophy of their golf management was to make players painfully suffer slow play or have a good time golf experience. He replied he would like people to have a good time, play quickly and not hold up other groups. I appreciated his feedback.
HOWEVER, WATCH OUT FOR THE GOLF POLICE!!! THEY'RE OUT TO RUIN AN OTHERWISE GREAT DAY PLAYING A GREAT OLD COURSE!!
Fairway condition
Not much grass. Sand in traps need conditioning.
I realize that it is not in private country club condition, but fairways need more attention to the bare spots on the fairway. The greens are kept in good condition.
Busy course and for good reason.
It was busy there so we waited no more than 5 minutes to tee off on each hole. They did manage the business well by starting us on the back 9. The course was in good condition especially the greens.
Starter issues
Being a first time guest I had good besides being forced to pair up with a new golfer & share a cart . They wanted to speed up tee times & felt like I was helping them by going before my tee time but got stuck riding passenger with a 25 hcp who was riding over tee boxes..
Great Track!
Great track, tough from the tips! Some interesting holes, a lot of target golf. I'll be back for sure!
Overall an enjoyable day.
We expected a 5+ hour round playing on Memorial day. We finished in just over 3 1/2 hours. Greens were in good condition. The fairways could use some water though. If the look like this in May, I'm afraid to see them in August/September.
pace of play
people in front of us were using black tees. ( 2 groups ahead)
they had no business being there. we watched them tee off a couple of times, they did not go past the red
tees. the group in front of us left after nine holes.
A good test
Always a good golf experience. At the hot deal price it's worth the drive. Greens in good shape fairways a bit spotty.
Challenging course
The course was very well maintained. The greens were manicured and large.
Great greens
Greens were punched a few weeks ago ans are now pristine. Fairways are a little thin but were punched recently and should be great in a week or two.
Great golf.
Great golf. Great facilities. Good people. All of this equils a good golf day..!
Greens in good shape
Greens in good shape fairways not so good. Cart girl was very good. Mats off the driving range. A so so course experience.
Fairways need work
The grass was cut extremely short on most of the fairways creating very tight lies.
Lots of trees...
Los Robles is a fun and challenging course. There are scoring opportunities if you can take advantage. Hit'em straight or you'll be hitting trees left and right. Well taken care of course, great rates, great area!!
Great greens
The greens had recently been sanded a couple weeks before I played and they were in great condition. The bunkers were in very poor conditions. Large rocks that could easily snap a club head off with no problem. Other than that, great time on the course.
Nice surprise
Very surprised how good the course condition was in. Staff was very helpful, played 18 holes in 3-1/2 hours, course Marshall's were friendly. Will play again.
Well Maintained Track
Great course for the money, especially with GolfNow hot deals. Overall has an almost semi-private feel. Grounds are well groomed. Lot's of mature tress. Fairways and greens are in great shape. GPS carts. As a par 70 its not super long or challenging even for a bogey golfer like myself. Pace of play is pretty good. Played on a Sunday after a morning scramble tourney and still came in around 4 hrs.
Greens
They had just punched the greens other wise corse was in great shape for a public corse that cost me 25 with a hot deal
Disappointed
All I have to say is airrade
With no notice until you reach the course and are forced to replay the front nine
Los Robles or saticoy regional? I couldn't tell on this day
Sunday afternoon
We got a great deal $33 incl cart. We were held up a little bit but played the front 9 in under 2 hours so hardly slow. The second nine we had the course to ourselves.
Los Robles is not the longest, toughest, fastest greens country club type course. But the layout is interesting and it won't cost you a lot of $ or golf balls.
We enjoyed it and will definitely play again as it's close to home.
