Woodley Lakes Golf Course

Great condition, wide fairways and gently sloping greens make this a lovely day out. Other than a few well placed trees there isn't much trouble on the course.
Only negative is the pace of play was very slow. I played on Saturday and it crawled all day.5 hours ugh.

Even the marshal is an idiot.
We have been waiting pretty much every hole due to 2 groups of hackers in front of us. when we waived up the following group on par 3, this idiot showed up and told us we are behind and move along. duh?

Relatively flat course .. But the course is long and fun to play. Greens are good and well maintained. Quiet and calm place to play a good round of golf.i

Great spot to play, four hour round is great on a Friday.

Wide open and very easy. A good 18 to let it rip with the drivers, woods, and long irons. Few trees and wide open fairways are very forgiving. I recommend for the beginning/inter who wants to play 18.

Course is wide open easy for your high caps. Not a great deal of variance from hole to hole. But over all a good time.

For a city course , the greens were in terrific shape. Fairways could use a little love, but for being in a drought, it was terific. Would play again in a heartbeat

Nice to play on a regular weekend to hone your short game. Course is not too difficult. Enjoyable to play than just hitting golf balls on a driving range.

It offered a generous fairways and no hazards to be concerned with.
The beginning was slow, but the pace improved as time went by.
For Sunday, the pace was impressive for a golf course in LA.
Highly recommend to beginners as well as walkers.

I never expect much when I play here but the fairways were in horrible shape. The tee boxes were level for the most part. The greens were decent and much better then they used to be in years passed. Its a good course to play if you are working on something, the course is wide open and it is almost impossible to lose a ball. The price is a little high for the product you are getting.

The greens were in ok shape. The fairways were terrible. There were a lot of brown patches and muddy waters. Also a lot of swan/duck droppings on tee boxes. I don't think the staff can do anything about the droppings, so I don't blame them. Overall I wouldn't play there again. There are better courses for that price.

not a lot of places to get into trouble. fairways could use some work. green were in good shape and quick enough to make them challenging

The course lay out was not bad. The rate of play was excellent. Due to the heavy rains the course conditions was poor. I would love to go back once the course dries.

We had a great time! I'm a hacker, and tend to loose lots of balls on narrow courses. Had no problem at Woodley. The course was in amazing shape.

I played this course on a Saturday morning and the pace of play was fantastic. Greens were in great shape as well. Definitely doing back.

Overall the course is in good shape. Some dry patchy areas due to the drought. The rough in some areas was extremely long and you had to find your ball by walking right over it. There were also some very muddy areas. The greens rolled pretty true at medium speed. I would definitely play here again.

Broad and flat courses with beautiful tree and lakes.
It is good for beginners.
