Woodley Lakes Golf Course

Enjoyed playing here on this day. Unfortunately, everyone had to walk because of recent rains making much of it muddy. Several large puddles in the fairways were in play. However, the greens drained well, and the rough wasn’t nasty at all.

I played this course 8 or 9 times in the last year. For the 1st time, i arrived only 5 minutes before tee time. traffic was bad on the way.

I've been welcome by a "i almost gave away your tee time". and it went on with "oh golf now... they are the worst" from a courageous guy behind a wall!

To end up with a lecture from the same guy: next time please show up on time.

Staff at Woodley, don't forget you only work because you have customers. which i assume come a lot from golf now.

I always enjoyed this course but you just lost me because you are beyond rude and entitled.

So golfnow users, be aware that you are not welcome there and never be late!!

Received a email that there will be no carts the morning of my tee time .

I was told I wouldn’t be charged and was still charged .

No matter what, it seems whoever oversees this course refuses to spend money to make the fairways and T boxes at least somewhat decent. I have played this course so many times only because it is local to me and I have never ever said wow the course was in great shape. I be happy with decent even, but that is not what woodley is about.

Price of the course attracts low level golfers that take their sweet time like they are in the masters. Aside from that this course is perfect for average golfers or more experienced golfers that want to play a quick round.

the greens and bunker need some attention. it would be nice to have a consisted car path, But over all its a good course..

It was my first time playing Woodley lakes and it was a good time. Pace of play was great and the course itself was fairly easy, great for beginner to intermediate players. The only downside was that the cart path is not paved so can get lost or muddy at times.

I Mean, c'mon Woodley!!! Spend a little of the money you collect and fix all the dirt patches in the middle of the fairways. this is one the only public golf courses where you are punished if you are in the fairways.

Weekday Thursday, pre-noon tee time. Thought we would move and be done in 4 hours, which is possible here -

except, we got stuck behind one slow group who was a full hole and a bit behind and held everybody up, and it took just under 5 hours because of it. So disappointing and really annoying. The course needs to tell these people and educate them on etiquette. It was quite obvious they took far too long on everything and then spraying it all over the map!!! So frustrating.

Greens are great, however. Might be the best of the munis at the moment. Most of the course is good too, lots of grass on tees and most of very fairways. Bunkers obviously need some work as some had grass starting to grow in them.

At least somebody is looking after the greens.

Please do something about the pace of play!!!!! It’s a week day, for crying out loud!!!

It was a great Thursday round. We had a great pace, and only had a short wait on the 10th. The group behind us never really caught us. The greens were in great shape and a little tricky. Some were faster than others. BTW, happy hour starts at 3PM and the wings were delicious.
