Best 9 Holes in the South Bay
The course was excellent condition with a little exception on some greens with small weeds. I like the distance of the par 4 and 5 holes with slight dog legs and large greens, which made it challenging. Even the two par 3s challenged me. Definitely want to play more often.
Mediocre
I’ll preface my criticism by saying that this is my first time golfing in SoCal.
I expected a more attractive and better kept course. While the grass had recently been mowed, the clippings weren’t removed, causing unnecessary hazards; there were also several large puddles/ soggy areas on the fairways indicating poor irrigation; and the course lacked visual appeal.
Additionally, you’re not allowed to drive the golf cart to the parking lot to pick up/drop off clubs! Perhaps this is standard practice at LA courses; but it was a first for me.
I enjoyed my round, but don’t plan on returning to this course.
Mediocre
The course is suitable it you just want to get out for a quick 9, but if you appreciate well kept greens, beautiful scenery, and basic amenities, consider looking elsewhere.

I’m here visiting from the east coast (DMV) and was it excited to tee it up while visiting SoCal. This is my first time playing in the LA area, so I don’t know if this is standard for this region, but I will not return to this course.
Love this course
I haven't played this course in over 8 yrs and it hasn't changed a bit
It's still enjoyable and a good test of golf!
Hidden Gem
First time playing Harbor Park Golf Course and I was pleasantly surprised! This is a great-value 9-hole course that definitely gives you a good challenge. The layout makes you hit a variety of shots, and for a 9-hole course, it doesn’t feel like you’re playing an easy pitch-and-putt.
The greens were in pretty good shape, and overall the course was well worth the price. I also grabbed some food afterward and was impressed with that as well — good food and a nice way to finish the round.
The only thing I found a little strange was that they allow fivesomes. I normally wouldn’t expect to see groups of five on a golf course, but surprisingly, the pace of play was still pretty reasonable during my round.
Overall, I really enjoyed Harbor Park. Great value, challenging layout, decent greens, good food, and a fun overall experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Golfing at harbor
Love harbor. It’s easy to get on the day before.its a fun course that has everything in 9 holes. Most of the time the pace of play is good. Well kept course
Loss
I had a tee time at 540 am and my wife unfortunately had to go to the ER at 2 am I called the course at 530 since thats the time they open and tried to reschedule but they denied it so I lost my money and tee time even though I explained the situation very unfortunate
Great Course
As a beginner, this course is great I get to use all of my clubs and its a few blocks from my house
Local
Haven’t played this course for many years because I just wasn’t playing. Just got back into it and in the last month I’ve played 5 times. Beautiful course and it’s convenient and it plays quick. Love this course
Love this course
I play this course whenever I get the opportunity to. It's short but it has very challenging greens a very long fairways. It's a great way to play your short game as well as maximize on your loan game. The only problem is that the tee time sell out quickly.
