I tried to cancel
I tried to cancel but it would not let me so I did not show up and someone got to play in my spot so the course got to double charge they charge me and whoever played at my teatime this really sucks thanks
Fun course
It's a bit far from home, but we tried out this course to get to cooler weather (and get away from all the smoke from the fires in the foothills). Glad we tried it out! It's a pretty well kept 9 hole course. We were able to go right out even though we arrived a little early. The pace of play was pretty decent considering it was a Sunday (we finished in 2 hrs 20 mins). It was a little pricey for 9 holes + a cart, but worth it for the cooler weather, good course conditions, and steady pace. Even though it was a bit of a drive for us, we'll probably be back.

Tee Box
No. 5 Tee Box High grass between blue markers. Felt like I was driving out of the rough. Not unacceptable. Other tee boxes were fine.
Reminds me of the Midwest
I grew up playing in Ohio and the framing with the trees reminded me of courses back there. You see parts of the concrete jungle on the outside but for the most part all you see is green grass and trees. The course was kept up really nice especially in comparison to other courses nearby. Greens were nicely groomed and fast. The fairways were nice. The rough was not too high but green and not brown.
The long par 3 was challenging and the last couple par 4s were tough because of the narrow playing area because of the trees.
Overall, I enjoyed it and will be back.
Fun 9-hole course
Haven't played this course in many years! It used to be unplayable on the weekends because they put out so many that you would have two groups waiting at nearly every tee. Could take four hours to play nine holes. Played quick today (Saturday morning). Fairways are tree lined and some are tight. The greens are smooth. The tee boxes were a bit chewed up. Hope they keep this tee sheet even after COVID.
Great public course.
Course is in very good condition and has a nice layout. Only playing by reservations now so make sure to reserve a tee time before you go.
