Course was in very good shape much better than a year ago. Staff was great

Short grass is fine, but don’t find the bunkers. The greens were very nice, smooth and predictable but not too fast (I’d have liked them a bit faster but I like fast greens), but the bunkers were a chore. Hit my first greenside shot like a hovered chip because there was obviously no sand under my ball, and it came out ok because it was on the upslope. Second one was in a puddle so I moved it, which I hate to do. Third was on a downslope with no sand underneath and there’s no way to hit that shot well. Like every other aspect of conditions and design, but please fix your bunkers!

Vintners was what I expected. Fairways patchy but decent. Same for the greens. Short layout - wedges to mid irons.

I'd go back...

Reasonably well maintained course with a good layout. Walkable. Great place to work on game (full range, including grass/turf). Full service bar and grill with a variety of menu options.

Golf Now took my CC and charged their fee. BUT, the course had NO RECORD of my reservation upon arrival, 30 Mins before tee time!!

This course was perfect for what we needed. My ten year-old and I were in Napa to satisfy his NASCAR fix, but Dad wanted to golf. We needed something that was quick and doable for my ten year-old and Vintner's Golf Club was perfect. Much better than a par 3 course with a great deal of variety. Lots of water which was fun and challenging for us. I had been concerned about the reviews talking about the goose droppings, but it was not bad at all. Would definitely encourage others to play. Definitely had a regulars only kind of vibe on a Saturday morning, but not so bad that it impacted our experience.

This was my first time visiting Vintner’s. One of my main courses is another 9 hole, par 34 course, Diablo Hills. Vintner’s is similarly enjoyable. Before going I read the reviews and do appreciate the heads up about all of the bird droppings. I did have to watch my step while walking, but aside from that, a few patchy fairways and wet bunkers I had a really fun morning at this course. Ryan, in the pro shop, was very friendly and I didn’t have anyone in front of me so I was able to finish in an hour and 15 minutes. There were some scenic views and challenging holes which makes for a great round of golf.

It was definitely worth making a 40 minute drive for the hot deal! I will certainly be back to play again.

What a great 9 hole track for your money, a fun and somewhat challenging course that has spectacular views on every shot! Although most greens and ponds are homes to many family’s of geese it still brings a true 9 hole course to a great time and money well spent. Good fun! Great service!!! Give it a try

Play moves quickly, even with a crowded field. Geese leave their marks virtually everywhere. Getting dogs back to encourage them to leave might be worth considering.

We had a 12:40pm tee time and did not get to tee off until almost 1pm. There were 2 foursomes and 2 twosomes on the tee ahead of us. Needless to say play was slow. We could normally play this 9 holes in 1.5 hours, but instead took it over 2hours from the time we teed off.

The course itself was in poor condition. Geese and goose poop everywhere including the greens. The greens had been punched and sanded some time probably this week so were uneven with some greens having large patches of sand. Several sand traps had water in them and sand was compacted.

Not worth the cost and frustration.

Beautiful morning $5.00 dollar golf can’t go wrong with that. While everyone is sleeping I am out enjoying a quick 9. Surrounded with mountains around you and ease of walking you get to see the natural beauty around you. Make for a fun morning and enjoy food after the round. Good deal!!!
