Tee boxes
I know it’s Vintners but I really wish the grounds keepers will maintain the tee box, divots and uneven tee box. But I still enjoy the course for the money and for the scenery.
Wonderful place and people;
Always welcome greeting, smooth play without delay, food drink available. Ez walk 9 holes. Carts available Holes with challenge but not overall demanding. Never leave with that whipped feeling; always leave pleased and happy
Glory years are past
What used to be a well kept course is now in very bad shape. Was great fun for the hot deal I received as I think $10 is all it was worth. The guys in front of me paid $50+ and were complaining the entire time. I felt they were taking advantage of. Greens were spotty, debris all over the - felt like they didn’t have any course maintenance.
Short Game challenge
From the blues or white tees have your short irons ready. If your a long hitter, playing from the black tees, hit it close as pin placements on deceptively sloped greens are the course’s only defense. Take time at the clubhouse for reasonably priced good food served by friendly staff to outdoor shaded tables with with views of pond, course and nearby mountains.
Good Course for the money
The only negative thing is the fairways need to be mowed more often. Grass is always big in fairways. Good course over all.
Great 9 hole course for beginners
I’ve golfed here twice so far. The course is excellent for beginners. The fairways are SUPER wide, great for someone like me with little control off the tee. There’s a reasonable amount of bunkers and water that make this course just challenging enough. Easily walkable, although I rode both times. There’s a decent driving range to warm up on before your round. I’ve been on the weekend and weekday and it wasn’t too crowded either day. Pace of play can be a bit quick as there are lots of singles on the course at any time, not a huge deal. One negative is the course conditions…. There’s crab grass all over the tees and fairways. I didn’t find this to affect my play, however it was quite unsightly. The sand bunkers are also rock solid, so beware of that. Despite that I would still play here and recommend it to my beginner friends. Great value for the money, especially with the golf now hot deals.
