Towne Lake Hills Golf Club

This course is always well maintained and fun too play. The staff is always friendly. This is always one of my go to courses.

Course was in great shape, and was challenging yet fun!

First time playing Town Lake and will def be back. The course layout is very balanced and allows you to get rolling before being challenged. The free course guide in pro shop was a great advantage. Cart girls friendly and were regularly coming by so we were never thirsty.

Pace of play was disappointing despite many reviews stating otherwise. The 4 some in front of us had no clue of how to play cart path only and were extremely slow wasting time. The ranger only spoke to them once which was not enough. A 5 hour round killed any chance of tempo.

All things considered, great experience and looking forward to playing again.

Course was in good shape, a bit wet with all the recent rain. Greens rolled very nice. Pace of play was very good.

Great Staff. Marshall' kept the pace of the game in order. I was a single player but was hooked with great guys in the Foursome. Had a great day.

I live in Towne Lake so this course is my "Go To" course when friends come to town. This course is one of the best values in the metro Atlanta area. Its pace of play is always good, Marshall's are always friendly and on course refreshments are available. The clubs restaurant service is always great. Before or after your rounds make sure you enjoy a sandwich ( Steak & Blue roll-up is my favorite ) in the clubhouse you can't go wrong!

I liked the course, although, it was pretty tight and hilly. Bring some golf balls if your a first timer with a 20+ handicap.

The staff was friendly however, when I put my receipt for my round in the car...I had to go back upstairs for verification or the starter would not let me go.

Overall, a decent experience

The course was nice as always but the staff went above and beyond.

Course is just coming out of growth after weird winter and spring months here. Other then that was in good shape. Have played here many times and caught the reviews about pace of play. I would rather play a course where they care about pace of play then one where there is no care for pace of play. Most of my rounds at Towne Lake have been on time with a few over but i will be back because they monitor pace of play unlike most golf courses in the area.

The course had been aerated probably a couple of weeks earlier but still played nicely

This was a terrible experience. We finished our round in 4 h and 19 min - the pace of play was for a 4h 30 min round. We were hounded by course Marshall’s as early as the second hole To pick up the pace. We were even told we would be forced to skip a hole if we did not pick up our speed - even though we were ahead of the allotted schedule and speed of play. We were told that we had to keep pace w a 2 ball that was playing off the senior tees in front of us.... I’m a scratch golfer and understand sensitivity to long rounds - but having incompetent Marshall’s who do not understand that it is not possible for a 4 ball to keep pace w a 2 ball went right over there heads - won’t be back ever.... such a disappointment

I have spent the last 5 years in Phoenix until I made the unfortunate move here so I know how good courses should be managed. Never in my life have I had to deal with a course that is run so poorly. 4 of the 7 days, the range is off of mats only. The management obviously doesn’t care about pace of play because I was stuck behind a 7 some the other day. On top of that, they believe that charging $33 at 5pm is a good deal. Drive 10 minutes up the street to Bridgemill and do yourselves a favor. At least that place is worth the money. This one is run by clowns.

Have not played at Towne Lakes in over 8 months and it was a nice change of pace to what I had been playing at other courses in northern Georgia

Greens and fairways are coming in well for springtime. Staff is exceptionately curteous and helpful. I will play here again soon.

A nice layout, almost always in great condition, and a nice 19th hole. This course is in my normal rotation, worth the 45 minute drive.
