About
The Championship 18 Course at Foothills Golf Course is one of three courses at the Foothills facility, but it is the only 18-hole course of the three. Built in 1971, Dick Phelps designed the course. The public course is 6,908 yards at its championship tees. Although the course is relatively flat, there are some hills that cause uneven lies. The course features other difficulties as well. Pretty lakes and creeks create water hazards that come into play on some holes. The greens are bent grass while the fairways are covered in Bermuda grass. There is also a putting green and on-site teaching pro to help golfers with their game.

Great course
Great course!! Marshall hounded us to pick up the pace. GPS showed us to be 3 minutes ahead and group behind us was a hole back. He was also rude to us and it didn’t make sense why he told us to pick up the pace!
First Review
Greens fees were reasonable. However, I needed to rent an electric cart for our twosome. There was a charge of $20 PER RIDER. Therefore I was paying an additional $40 for one cart. Much too expensive for a cart. Makes me inclined to avoid this course.
Who’s Playing
I love foothills golf course but had a foursome playing in front of us walking with only two sets of clubs. Come on started don’t let them go out without each person having a set.
Golf complex
For a first timer on this course it has some challenging holes and overall a nice course to play with spectacular views. I found out there are 6 course in the area with this one a having grass driving and a executive and nine hole as well.
