Golfer Reviews
5 hr weekday AM morning round….UNACCEPTABLE
What a terrible 5 hr AM weekday round = This golf course was moving at a snail’s pace like a muni Bloomingdale’s which is AWFUL for pace of play……I want my money back for this!!
Bomber’s paradise
Course is wide open and fun to play. Conditions are excellent especially given the time of year. It was not crowded and the place of play was great. .i would not consider it inexpensive at close to $100.
I would caution a few provisos. The area around the golf course is under major construction and noisy including the clubhouse. The Pro shop is in a van. Accordingly there are no amenities to speak of.
It didn’t bother me.
The only real negative was gas carts vs electric…… not a big fan.
Otherwise, highly recommend.
Fairways for days
Really fun well kept course... Bring your grip and rip off the tee! Fairways are wide..
Very Poor customer experience
For a brand new golf course and community, you would think they would want to encourage people to play and buy there…….couldn't be further from the Truth and the poor customer service we all received will absolutely keep up away from this place! We will gladly take our business to Waterlefe or University pkwy ✌️
Great Course in a construction zone
Played at Calusa today and it is an awesome golf course! It’s in great shape. And it’s a player friendly layout. The course has big wide fairways. Big greens with a lot of movement and undulations. There is a lot of water. But few forced carries. I remember 7 and 8 on the front. And maybe 13 on the back required a decent forced carry off the tee. Other than that the water is on the side with wide fairways. The negative is that the course is literally in the middle of a construction zone. There is only a golf course. And a trailer for a temporary trailer for a pro shop. Construction everywhere. And the course is not very well marked. I got turned around and confused a couple times. So if you want just a great golf course go play here. But if you need any amenities you will want to wait a while before going.
Great day
2nd time playing calusa and loved it. Played in 315 and it was wonderful. Greens are in great shape for the time of year course is in fantastic shape. Only downside was no gps on cart so hard to see the shape of some holes and where to hit it. No real
Clubhouse eithe. All in all it was a great day
Best golf course in Southwest Florida !
Conditions are outstanding. I felt like I was playing in the U.S. Open. I’m just an amateur, but it sure is fun. The tee boxes the fairways the greens are incredible. I would suggest anybody out there to give this course a shot you can’t go wrong. Expect a high score.
Potentially good course
Very forgiving, wide open fairways
Greens have been aerated not too long before we played so not good
There are absolutely no facilities anywhere on the course and there is no clubhouse. It is all under construction and I guess we’ll be good in time but for now it’s not worth the money.
FUN N GREAT SHAPE
Most playable and fun courses around. Top shape as well
SAVE YOUR MONEY
Would not even bother wasting your time going to this dump of an establishment. Every single staff member is an absolute tool, starting with the biggest one in the entire state of Florida, the “Club Pro” if that’s what you even want to call him.
Very good course
If you can get past the construction surrounding the course a course which is in great shape. All areas were top notch
One issue were the maintenance people on each and every hole. Not their fault but was aggravating
Poor time management
The course is beautiful and a lot of fun. It’s forgiving but makes you want to take a risky shot here and there.
My big issue was the overbooking. It’s terrible it’s completely stacked we were waiting up to 20 minutes on a hole. It shouldn’t take me 5 hours to play 18 . I wouldn’t pay over 70$ to play this course. The only way to get 18 holes completed in a reasonable amount of time is to tee off at 7 am.
First play and great experience
This was my first time playing the 18 hole course. Great course layout—expanded fairways, no big trees (new construction), multiple bunkers and water throughout. Pace of play was good but par 3s can backup and then thin back out. Great friendly staff that are ready to help as soon as you arrive. No ranger on the course. They have a cart girl but not always to be found so stock up if you need something when she does come around. They also have a 12 hole course. Will definitely be back!
