Can go low
Course was in great shape for mid summer. Layout is friendly for high handicappers but the multiple drivable fours make it fun.
It’s really pretty easy with how wide the fairways are so you can go low. Love the really hard fairways and greens even with all the rain we have received.
Will definitely be back
Fantastic course
First time playing this course and it really impressed me. Great layout, amazing fairways and very friendly staff. Greens were a little sandy but still playable. Definitely would recommend this course
Great course
Pristine condition. No facilities but bev cart was fine. Challenging but fair and fun. Highly recommend
This is going to be a great place to play
This course gets top ratings from me. The course itself and the course conditions were top notch. Even after having the greens punched and sanded, they still rolled and played better than a lot of the courses in the area. The only consideration for people wanting to play there right now is that, while the course is beautiful, you are playing through a massive construction process. It's a little tricky getting to the course and in going from one hole to another at times is a bit of a adventure given all the construction. The practice area is very good. No clubhouse yet or off course amenities like that. The pro shop is in a portable mobile home, The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great course....aesthetics not so much.
Wonderful new course!
Played Cakusa CC for first time. Located in development under construction. Course was in excellent condition, fairways and greens. Very friendly staff. Not picturesque yet as whole area is being built. Excellent value. Will return
Barebones Golf
It’s a shame the course clubhouse is not completed at this point but that will come with time. I am definitely excited for that. If the course keeps the pricing where it is at (versus the $100 rate when they opened) I think they’ll do great. Would I pay more than $75 for this course, probably not. But less than than that FOR SURE. Please do not fall into the greed and jack up prices.
Best course condition I played in years. Wide open off the tee. Greens have a lot of undulation but how it would highly recommend
Best course I've played in years. The condition of the course is amazing hard to believe compared to other courses in the area. Wide open off the tee but greens are undulated
Excellent Conditions, Friendly Staff
Played mid-week morning round as a twosome. Finished in less than four hours. Course is brand new and greens still firm but overall conditions were excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating (especially Kent, the starter). Amenities and cart path crossings still being built, but you can see (even now) that this place is going to be something special. Conditioning is truly private club quality. Can recommend this course and look forward to returning soon.
Super weird tee box fail
The course being under construction doesn't bother me in the least, but the fact that there is a 900-1000 yard gap between the tips and the (II) tees is purely asinine. 7400 from the tips is fine for a scratch player like me, although I don't even play with a driver anymore so it's a bit much, especially with any wind. But the next tees up are 6490, and many tees were up from those actual yardage plates, so it played more like 6400 or less. Then you compare course ratings and it's 75.3/143 jumping down to 71.5/135. This is totally unheard of for virtually any course anywhere. A complete design fail, although something very easy to change later. But as it stands now, we've got PGA Tour length tees then straight to LPGA length. And while it may ensure the majority of male players will play the shorter (II) tees, for any good player who isn't a pro, it's quite simply too short and easy at 6400-6500, especially with such wide fairways and so many holes where you can cut corners. It's still a decently fun track at the shorter length, but if a designer doesn't put in tees that are ~73.5 course rating, they've failed. When you have 5 of the 6 tees with course ratings under 72.0 and 4 of the 6 under 70.0, you've failed.
Great layout and conditions
Obviously lots of construction off the course, but amazing layout and super fun course to play.
Nice Track
Gonna be a great golf course in the future, still a ton of construction going on around the course. Great condition, needs better signs, easy to get lost when you dont have signs to tell you where to go. Major issue, trailer for a clubhouse, one bathroom for all!!! Few Port a potties around the course, mainly for Contruction workers. Couple items left behind, our mistake.....called 3 times total, not found, more like items were kept by the staff ...SAD!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed with that
The course is brand new having opened in February,2025
The course layout is very good but is in the middle of a huge construction zone. It was very windy and dust and dirt were flying everywhere.
Solid
Solid brand new course. Pro shop is still a trailer so don’t expect much in terms of amenities. A lot of construction around the course and on a windy day expect a lot of dust flying around. Course is in great shape, only negative is the tee boxes are very firm and sometimes it was rough to even get a tee in. Twilight time for $60 is well worth it
Dust bowl
Course is amazing, greens are new and firm, will get better, nothing built around it yet so today the wind was up and we played in a dust storm almost all round. Will for sure be back bc it’s so nice, just hope it’s not as dusty.
