Saddlebrook Resort - Cypress/Pine

The course appears to be under a major redesign. The current setup is literally all over the place. Due to this, the GPS on the carts are shut off and the course is not well marked. I would not play this course in this condition for any price.

The course has changed from the original Palmer and Saddlebrook but has kept the challenge they offered.

Arrive early to take advantage of the included driving range before heading to the course.

Fairways and greens are in tip top shape except where they are rebuilding a new tee box

My only concern was the GPS system in the carts which was not updated to reflect the new course layout.

Very bad condition for the money, very disappointed.

$90 fee and you can even play the right golf course , we played 6 holes in one course then you need to play the other 12 holes in a different course. I could not set my score in my app. What a mess.

course routing was strange ---to many 115 par thress

I enjoyed playing the course, except for the 3 1/2 holes playing behind the slowest twosome ever. My gps took me to the driving range next to the highway instead of to the clubhouse, so I drove around the complex for about 10 minutes trying to figure out where I was supposed to go. The check-in process was kind of mixed up, too. The course layout is clearly not as originally designed and, despite some efforts at signage, it's very easy to get lost finding the way from one hole to the next. Then there's the half mile drive from the proshop to the 10th hole with no signage whatsoever. The cart guy had me enter the intersection on my gps! Anyway, I thought it was worthwhile to try once, but not sure I'll be back.

Will have to play again to see how the changes pan out as they’ve closed a few holes due to construction of practice facilities we were told. They’re reconfiguring the holes so it was a bit different than how it was before when we played it! Will be back to see how it goes!

The course layout doesn’t match gps. The back 9 carts were set to cpo even though it was 90 degrees. Could be nice when they are done.

To wet to play should close it for awhile until they can figure out what they really want to do with it

The course is currently not in a playable condition as drainage seems inadequate and there is significant water and muck across the fairways. Under normal conditions I have always enjoyed the course.

It was a little tricky cuz you had to start on the back nine and then make a long trip to the front nine because of the weather conditions. It has been raining a lot lately so it was unexpectable but it was a swamp. Overall the course is laid out really nice and I really enjoyed the rolling the hills
