Wonderful course
This is a wonderful course which is little challenge for a beginner like myslef. I definitely will keep going back.
Trophy Club Mid-August 2017
It was another great day on this great course. Trophy Club of Atlanta has a terrific layout and is a great challenge depending on which tees you select.
I love playing this course and the fast greens.
On this round, the back nine had sanded greens but still rolled smooth and fast.
I can't wait to come back.

Pace /staff
Pace was great and staff outstanding .
Hope to play again soon.
Not worth the wait
Tee times were scheduled 8 min apart. Not nearly enough time, which led to 6+ hour round.
I would not recommend this course.
Nice course. Not very long. I am a 10 hcp suggest playing from the tips for a better round. Tee to Green everything is in nice shape. The only dislike is the pace of play can be slow...but its only because the starters makes poor decisions about pairings. If you are a better golfer beware of getting pair up with a random 2 some been paired with alot of begginers that shoot 65 on the front...everyone needs to start somewhere but lead to a long day. Over would recommend if you are in the cumming/milton area.
Added to the Rota!
A friend recommended this course so my regular group took his suggestion and are glad we did. It has a country club feel with tree lined holes and a nice clubhouse... but not one that is overly done. the greens had been aerated three weeks earlier and showed a few signs of recovery, but were largely back to normal. tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. Sand was good and ample for shot making. All in all, it's a great course that made an impression on our group that we have added it to our regular rotation. I look forward to playing it again soon!
Sloooowww
We waited on every hole. Also, on this very hot day, the beverage cart was few and far between. They likely missed on opportunities to make more money.
The tee boxes were beat up. The fairway were in decent shape and it appeared the greens were recovering from aeration.
Ive played here several times and unfortunately this was not a great experience mostly because of the wait on every single hole and every single shot.
Pace of play is horrible
The course is in great condition. The issue is the pace of play, and how often they send golfers out. They try to pack as many golfers as possible sending a team out every 8 minutes. If one group takes at least a minute or two to look for their ball, this will cause a huge back up. That's what happened yesterday. My tee time was at 12pm, and when we got to the first tee box, the guys that teeed off at 9 were just making the turn. A 3- hour front 9 is not acceptable. Every tee box yesterday we had to wait on an avg of 10-15 mins. Again not acceptable. They really need to think about how often they send golfers out.
Better Than Expected
I have played Trophy Club of Atlanta a few times over several years. The course has never been better than average. However, the overall appearance for this round was much better than I previously observed. The greens, which are usually be the best part of this course, were recently sanded and not very smooth. The bunkers and tee boxes need some work, but played acceptably. Play was a bit slow.
Great Shape
Course was in great shape other than a couple of tee boxes that needed a little TLC. Pace of play was excellent considering we tee'd off at 12:52pm on a beautiful Saturday (4 hours). What little contact I had with the staff was pleasant. Course was fun to play but also challenging with some tight fairways off the tee box. Accurate ball strikers should be able to score well here. My only complaint is the long cart ride from hole to hole with no signs to guide you. As a first timer at this course it was difficult to find my way around in between a few holes. Other than that the round was great and I will certainly be back if I can find another hot deal for $25 again (not sure it's worth the regular price of $70).
A Challenging Course
A nice facility and the staff that I encountered were polite and friendly. The course and greens were in very nice condition. The course has many holes with elevation challenges. This course was a challenge for a high handicapper like myself. The pace of play was very good for a Saturday afternoon, finished the round in 4 hours. I would recommend this course.
Tight fairways lightning fast greens
The course was a challenge for someone that typically plays flat Florida courses. Only disappointing part was that it was cartpath only due to the excessive rain earlier in the week. Somewhat difficult for a 71 year old with bad hips.
Would love to go back in the future and play it again.
Fun challenging course
The course was in great condition from tees to green. It's a challenging but fair course. Plenty of ways to get in trouble but avoidable if you hit a good shot you can avoid it.
A must play
This was only the second time I played this course and I am still impressed. The presence of a marshal to ensure proper pace of play would make it perfect.
